No doubt he is a great cricketer, Tendulkar. But he has acted like a typical Mumbai middle class guy when he kept hanging on in the team, in spite of everyone asking him to retire. He is quite a miser in spite of having so much money. He has never donated money to any cause, never as much given a bat to a youngster, or throw a party to visiting teams. Just a blot on his other wise glowing personality. He himself came in at 17 years. But held on in the team preventing many youngsters to play at the highest level. Howrya

Well said, Why should somebody who is not a cricket fan follow sachin. Yes he is a legend in the cricketing world but who has made him a legend his records and the people. But to be a legend be a good human being and be dedicated to the country and not just money. Why did he apply for a tax waiver when he is rolling in wealth and that to also for a gifted car and not one which he won as a trophy.I am putting up a small article of how the court has has taken notice of this misuse of his being a good cricketer. The Delhi high court on Wednesday issued notices to cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and the Union Finance and Sports Ministries on the Rs 1.13 crore duty waiver for the imported Ferrari car gifted to him.
Taking suo motu cognizance of various newspaper reports regarding the duty waiver for Tendulkar's car, Justice Vikramjit Sen said the matter will be treated as a PIL and directed the same be listed for hearing on August 19.
According to the court order, Tendulkar will be served notice through the Bombay Cricket Association and the Board for Control of Cricket in India.
The batting maestro got his much-awaited and much talked about Ferrari-360 Modeno on August 9 after the Finance Ministry exempted 120 per cent import duty. The car was transported to India by an Air France flight from Paris.
The car was gifted to Tendulkar by Fiat after the Mumbai batsman equalled the late Sir Don Bradman's tally of 29 Test centuries.
Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher presented the ca

koni ,
you don't know whichyoni you have come out of. for an indian citizen you only need to be born in India . People will be indian citizens even if they are born in a gutter provided the gutter is within the boundries of india. It is natural for gutterborns like you to call others non-indians.

I agree with the insulting part, no indian cricketer including sachin should be insulted..but criticising is different. every one is free to criticise the performance / non performance of our stars..it is their personal opinion..remember we all live under the same sky, but have different horizons..

That's really good.... One only hopes that you will also study hard and improve your intelligence so that you can at reach the stage Sachin was before you deemed him fit enough to do basic tasks... ;-)
At last, Sachin has realised what he is supposed to do at this age, launching someone's books, opening jewelry shops, opening hotels but all these with paid visits.
Only thing pending is that he has to find some time to announce his retirement from all sort of cricket formats.

If you can not respect Sachin Tendulkar then atleast keep quite. He is one of the finest humanbeing. He has served the country for such a long period. He never became a controversial figure. People like Gadkari lost their image in a few years.
I slaute Sachin though he is much younger than mae.
There is no harm in making money for their appearance. Clinton and now Mrs Clinton too do this.
Since you and me are nothing we are satisfied with a plate full of good food.
