So?

It is also the most inexperienced Indian side.

Vijay, Dhawan, Kohli, Pujara, Jadeja, Bhuvaneshwar, Ashwin.

Akk of them have played less than 20 tests.

says that this is the most inexperienced side. yet his chela the so called master , best batsman on earth blah blah has failed miserably & has been taken by club class bowlers on home pitches where youngsters are playing game changing innings.

India's big rival is Australia and not Pak. I'm happy that we are bashing Aussies and giving them there own medicines. Many a times, performance matters in any feild rather than mere talking or sledging.

Well..As far as Indian sports is concerned, we simply fail to look at the positives when the team loses and ponder over the negtives when the team wins. Firstly, Kudos to the indian team for thrashing Aussie 3-0..they were simply the better team both on paper and on field. But having said that, we shouldn't forget the issues we still have with this team:

1. V Sehwag might have lost his sheen, but his experience could prove to be handy when India tours SA and therefore should't be dumped all together.
2. Its time Sachin gets to a 3 digit score in the 4th test to ensure he gets to SA on merit and not on experience or past repuation or mumbai lobbying.
3. Our tailenders forgot batting completely. Agreed, top order fired and they never really had to bat. But our No7 to 11 are total flop as far as batting is concerned. On the other hand, Aussies have a good set of tailenders. Even their no 11 batted better than our no 8 - ashwin.
4. I still stay by my stand - Dhoni might have won this series, but he still isn't a test match player...he should retire gracefully and Saha or Dinesh Kartik should take his place. Make Kohli the captain. Should dhoni play in SA, I bet, he woudn't score more than 20 in any of the innings there.
5. Where is Zaheer Khan? I dont see Ishant and Bhuvaneshwar kumar generating a great impact in SA. Our pacers still lack quality, They both bowl well in patches, but not consistently.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT YAAR..THOUGH I AM HAVING LUNCH, STILL IN BETWEEEN, I AM GLAD TO READ THIS..
At least Goti, yuvi and viru should be included and in place of Dhoni Kartik be there. Yadav and Arron be included in the squad for SA
Your remarks are simple, sooothing and un-biased.
Keep this spirit please.

well said...but i would like to disagree on one count. Its still too early to place the burden of captaincy on kohli.I think Gambhir is the right candidate for that provided he rediscovers his batting form sufficiently enough to make the team and starts performing as a batsman like before. His experience of having captained India before and also state sides and IPL sides will help. Also he has toured SA before.

And as far as Dhoni retiring is concerned,I don't see that happening anytime soon as he'ss at present the hottest property of Indian Cricket and BCCI's poster boy!!!

ABC: Though I am huge fan of Dada, we do not have options in Leadership..and also you need to consider wicket keeper's role in TEST will be tough to contribute as Batsman becuse he needs to keep wickets 1 or 2 or 3 days continuously so its not good to expect huge runs from them........rarely in the world you will see wK keeper batsman averaging 40 in test cricket

Problems still persists..
1. Through out the series its only 1 or 2 players max in each match who dominated rest all packed up easily...this is not mark of consistency
2. I still remember R Ashwin & P Ohja hardly effective in ENG or AUS conditions, neither are the pace bowlers. Against decent ENG not even effective in our own back yard.
3. Success against weakest AUS team ever doesnt mean we are settled
4. We do not have any alternative leadership that itself means we are not in good shape

the bangali dada as usual wid his poloiticised comments 'the worst australian team '.If India had lost he would have crticised,if they have won ,he finds it 'the worst australian side',the fact is he cant digest the fact that dhoni is winning.the bangali cant he c that india is also playing wid ppl wid little experience like dhawan, vijay ,kumar ,jadeja.he takes all credit 4 wins in kolkata as if it was due 2 his captaincy. The heroic inings of dravid n vvs save it .he wants to say he was responsible for their hand eye coordination. the bangali didnt win a single trophy in his capataincy bt misses no chance 4 lecturing.Big Loser!!!!

Ooooo genious prabhat....then name any australian side which is weaker than this???? searching for answers :) We have just lost against average ENGLAND (same tem which lost against pakistan)team with only 4 quality players(Cook,Peterson,Swann & Panesar)....the current AUS team has only Mclarke who is w-class rest of Watson & D-warner are good in shorter format's only......This Aus team is equivalent to touring Zim team of Ganguly's time (A Flower,G Flower, H Streak, Ray price & A Campbell)......none of the current teams barring SA are as strong as they used to be during GANGULY's time (PAK,SL,AUS,NZ,ZIM are fielding weakest teams ever in their own history).....At least series-draw's in SA and ENG will prove we are good enough...lets wait....I would be happy to see that

You Behari seems to have a personal dislike for the Bengali dada more than his cricketing comments. No wonder there are many who have a personal dislike for Beharis like Raj and his men who can't stand a single Behari. :)

Sinha, giving one example of greatness of your so called bengali dada. He has nurtured a pacer from Bihar, Vir Pratap Singh in his coaching camp in Salt Lake, Kolkata and now Singh is a member of Bengal Ranji Team. So, please criticize Dada but don't throw emotions of castism.
