It is a pity watching Sachin Tendulkar, a pale shadow of his old self, grafting for runs. This is not how his millions of fans want to remember him. It is high time he bade goodbye to cricket. Sachin and Dhoni were leading India to a draw, when a chance Sachin runout brought Jadeja in...

Don't club Sachin and Dhoni! Dhoni was not able to connect for 25 deliveries except for singles in the last ball of every over and you think the plan will go unnoticed? Sachin played just 2 deliveries during the time Dhoni wasted 25 deliveries. Is it that Dhoni can not bat when Sachin is at the other end? Then he has to consult a psychiatrist!

Mr Tingu, If you understand cricket, count the number of balls Sachin was standing at the non-striker end.
Thats because the others couldn't even rotate the strike. Don't blame Sachin for this.
Dhoni delebrately got out to sachin, wanted to draw the match but not taken jadeja to confidance for draw, jadeja did not knew his plan and innocently made two shot for four than dhoni has no choice, he knew jadeja will make two three shot more and india will win and take the credit of win than dhoni made the winning shot very uninteresdly.

Dhoni has this uncanny knack of coming early to bat when the hard situation has been handled by others and made easy. He comes and then scores the winning runs. This is what happened in 2011 WC where a jealous Dhoni came above an in-form Yuvraj after Virat and Gautam had done all the hard work of rebuilding the innings. And our media and paid commentators praise him to the hilt.
the worst ever aussie cricket team to tour india... and still our captain aims for a draw!! it shows his caliber and cricketing sense!! the real test begins with SA

Apparently the captain wanted to add thrill to the game. C redit should also be given to Aus bowlers who kept our boys in check

Even if Dhoni does everything right, there will always be someone like a "Warrsan" to criticize. Just ignore the idiot!
Game played by others in the field...bt Dhobi(Sorry intentionally mistaken)only knows how to hold the wicket in the END...shouldn't he feel guilt???...

We can all sit in front of the TV or laptop and speculate about what exactly happened. But given that most of us have never tasted the heat of sporting battle at the most elite of levels and the pressure that goes with it we will never understand what it is really like to be out there when decisions have to be made in a snap. I would suggest that we just celebrate this victory, not waste time second-guessing players’ intentions and move on. A win is a win is a win!

did u forget he scored the winning runs. and the double hundred in chennai which demoralized the aussie and set the tone for a series win for India. Aussie are bad loosers they cry and find excuses when they say they didnt play the best 11........well did we stop the aussie from playing the best 11.

dravid laxman and sachin are great players and have served indian team well. Tendulkar has played for 23 years and its an achievement by itself. His presence is a great help to the juniors in the dressing room and sachin will retire when he feels right.

tendulkar wants to supply drinks even if selectors fail to select him in next 20 yrs. He wants to die on the pitch one day and cremated at batting track. Words cannot identify his commitment 4 cricket
