Sikhar Dhawan has made a dream debut in the test matches, Cheteshwar Pujara has been in supreme form, Virat Kohli is the next contender to lead the Indian team, Murli Vijay has shown that he has the ability to defend when required and is also quick to change gears to become am aggressive batsman. The combination of these 4 gives Indian team a dream look and with talented players like Ajinkya Rahane sitting and waiting for his turn to prove his ability, it is mandatory for Sachin Tendulkar to to call it a day. The ere is absolutely no place for him because he is stopping the young blood from entering the team. It is not a secret that he will play his 200th test just to add another feather in his cap, not many are interested to know though. It by no means is an easy task to play for so long but then he was given enough liberty at times when he lived on his past glory.
It is the right time for Sachin to hang his boots and exit with dignity. He should not forget that when he scored his 100th international ton, not many were happy with his achievement as India lost the game to Bangladesh.
I hope Sachin will think seriously on this and take a sensible decision.

Ajeet should have waited for a day more. Who can say with certainty that this 'Shikar' won't go the way Vinod Kambli went, whose name also is remembered only for some records - like a ''Flash in the pan".

Just waiting for the time when the rahanes and dhawans get caught in the gully on single digits off Steyn's bowling. You guys would be the first to say that you wish that the sachins and dravids had waited for some more time before retiring.

Viru is also one of the all time greats of Indian cricket, But, an era has passed. Thank you Viru, for all the joy you gave us Indians. Dhawan seems a worthy replacement and yes, let us see how he performs on the seaming tracks of South Africa, England and Australia. Such tests await Pujara & Murli Vijay too!

Pujara also failed abroad! Kohli too for the most part except one Adelaide after many more chances.

THat was the first and last time Viru scored abroad. Last of Virus century were 2001 in SA, 2002 in Aus and never in Eng, NZ. His time is over unless he works hard in local matches or in COunty.
is there in his pony tail. historically indians used to sport pony tails. it has got tremendous power. animals have tails, which is equivalent to our pony tail.

oh hello get ur stats right. Shikar Dhawan has got nothing to do with that cheap movie maker David Dhawan. He ain't his son. Shikar Dhawan is from Delhi & David Dhwan is from Mumbai. Got it now????
