by hussain khan on Mar 16, 2013 11:54 PM  | Hide replies

NO DOUBT DHAWAN PLAYED WELL, BUT YOU HAVE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST AUSTRALIAN ATTACK AND FLATTEST PITCH. HIS REAL TEST COMES WHEN HE TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA AND AUSTRALIA WHERE YOU NEED A CLASS AND TECHNIQUE OF WASIM JAFFER.

PLAYING AGAINST THIS ATTACK AND ON THIS PITCH I THINK THE OUT OF FORM SEHWAG WOULD HAVE SCORE 400 ALONE IN A SINGLE DAY, ASHWIN WIL WILL SCORE DOUBLE HUNDERED AND WASIM JAFFAR COULD HAVE SCORE 500 RUNS.

FACTS
by Raviraja on Mar 16, 2013 10:58 PM

Dear All,

It is very clear why he is scoring at that fast rate. Because he does not have time. Due to bullshit selectors, he made debut at 27 year age. That too, he has to compete with many. Hence, in order not to waste any time further, he has no choice but to score fastly.

Time for Sachin to go
by Ajeet Singh on Mar 16, 2013 10:56 PM  | Hide replies

Sikhar Dhawan has made a dream debut in the test matches, Cheteshwar Pujara has been in supreme form, Virat Kohli is the next contender to lead the Indian team, Murli Vijay has shown that he has the ability to defend when required and is also quick to change gears to become am aggressive batsman. The combination of these 4 gives Indian team a dream look and with talented players like Ajinkya Rahane sitting and waiting for his turn to prove his ability, it is mandatory for Sachin Tendulkar to to call it a day. The ere is absolutely no place for him because he is stopping the young blood from entering the team. It is not a secret that he will play his 200th test just to add another feather in his cap, not many are interested to know though. It by no means is an easy task to play for so long but then he was given enough liberty at times when he lived on his past glory.

It is the right time for Sachin to hang his boots and exit with dignity. He should not forget that when he scored his 100th international ton, not many were happy with his achievement as India lost the game to Bangladesh.

I hope Sachin will think seriously on this and take a sensible decision.

Thanks Sunil, I would prefer to see the young blood to go to SA and loose rather than sending the oldies and loose. At least the young blood looks hungry and that is what is required to build the team.

However the failures of Ashwin and Jadeja with bat is a big time worry because they are being projected as all rounders.

I respect your views anyways.

Dhoni test average outside
In WI 2006, 24
In SA 2006, 26
In AUS 2007, 17.62
In SLK 2009 17.5
In SA 2011, 35.8
In WI 2011- 19.5
In Eng 2011- 28.5
In 2011 Aus series- 23.0
Also dhoni after playing 42 T-20 intl has not scored a single fifty, no match winning inning, no MOM & low strike rate of 111 (one of the lowest for any batsman in T-20 at his batting position)
In ODI overseas also he is a big failure as batsman who never perform when require due to limited batting ability & has hardly won any important ODI outside india with his batting.
He is a flop wicketkeeper also in last 3 series where dropped many catches.
He has no overseas century outside subcontinent in any format of game after playing 7 yrs of cricket while even batsman like kumble/agarkar has overseas century batting at no.9.
Dhoni Overseas test captaincy record- Win-5, Loss- 10, Draw-06
Win includes Bng, WI, NZL, Slk

Dhoni is best
That’s why doing rest.
hehehe
