if watson retires, n decides only to play ipl, he cant b allowed by ausi ckt board. so what option watson has. retire from test, n odi also (may b). n play only tti for ausis n as such qualifies for ipl also. huge loss to ckt.

Why are you making these eeee noise. Has something like a red hot poker gone up your rear orifice.
It is unfair.t is one thing to retain traditionally spinning tracks like what we had in Chennai as spinning track. But to convert a track that traditionally favoured pacemen into spinning one is unsportsmanlike

Australian pitches are made to favour home team pace bowlers. So what is wrong in preparing spin pitches to favour home team? Didn't we loose all the 4 matches in Austrlaia for a pace attack last summer?

If we look at pitches around the world except Sri Lanka, most of the pitches are either seaming, bouncy. So for India to do well outside of subcontinent in any form of cricket our batsmen need to know to adapt well to these conditions. Hence we need to prepare good sporting track which has a good balance all around. Like our batsmen our bowlers(spinners) perform well only in India and struggle consistently outside of India. With all our test matches in the next couple of years slated to be outside India, it is in our best interest that we do get accustomed to pacy/seaming tracks...

Actually the same Chennai pitch was swinging and bouncing in the ODI vs Pak. Shows that if need be our pitches can be bowler friendly. Mohali was pacy when it was new, it has been pretty slow in recent years. Regardless a bowler friendly pitch is needed to make tests interesting and evenly balanced.
