Arthur Reinvigorates the Team !!!
by Raja Srinivasan on Mar 13, 2013 06:17 PM

Micky Arthur (Coach) is working on THE MOST APPROPRIATE INTERVENTION; at the MOST APPROPRIATE MOMENT; in the MOST INNOVATIVE WAY - i.e. to bring an ATTITUDINAL CHANGE enabling Commitment, collaboration, and cooperation as a means of bringing in a NEW CULTURE that can help regain Australia's lost glory and domination.

If that demanded a dose of "Shock Treatment", Arthur didn't shy away from it and stood the ground - an attribute of avant-gardiste LEADERSHIP that he displayed. Proper presentation of strength, weakness, opportunity and threats as felt by individual players would have done a world of good not just to lift the bar in terms of performance but to GAIN THE HEARTS AND MINDS of everyone including administrators, fans, players and even the competing teams of the world.

Regardless of the impact of this BIG INITIATIVE (where short term results cannot be over emphasized) Arthur has reason to stand tall in his display of boldness and clarity of objective(s).

He feels that he is a CEO of a company asking for presentations..They are cricketers not corporate employees..Its the duty of the coach to go to each player and ask about their shortcomings...And top of that he gave five days to the players to prepare presentation...such a stupid fellow...why didnt he go to each and every player...he could have finished this whole thing in 2 days only..why to wait for five days

:-)..., begging seems to be in our attitude. Coach should beg for good performance. Good one.
