CLEAN SWEEP
by Shilpa Mehta on Mar 12, 2013 01:12 PM  | Hide replies

What a foolish way to deal with players .
It was Pattinson who took few important wickets , rest all were ordinary .
Watson was vice captain .
What difference it was going to make by giving your views / presentation on your
own & team’s improvement ?? Was it so important aspect ?
Any way , let AUS do anything , they are going to lose 4 - NIL .
They cannot survive our lethal spin attack .

I wish this could be done when our cricketers travel
by pradeep agarwal on Mar 12, 2013 12:48 PM  | Hide replies

The abject surrender in UK & Australia by our cricketers called for some introspection & action by board. What actually happened was opposite & a captain who capitulated without an iota of fight & shame was rewarded with another stint to lose again against England in India. He is now being hailed again as captain coll while people with some idea about test cricket knows that he is not fit for this format & should be sacked for future of Team India in 5 day format.winning against a team in India which has lost its way has no meaning & may lead to similar situation in 8 months time that Aussies are facing when we tour South Africa.Jadeja,Dhoni & Vijay will be a liability against an attack with world class pacers

Dhoni is a liability...
What are you talking?
You have no idea about cricket, otherwise tell me one better wicket keeper batsman than Dhoni

We saw his batting, keeping & Captaincy in England,Australia & India against England. If that was best then all the best to the future of Team India. One double hundred & two wins against a third grade team can't be the basis of judging a person who failed for 18 long months when matched by the competition

I am always happy dear..
But you need to be happy as well. No need to cry every time on your own team. You people cry if they lose, but you also cry they win...

Not unprecedented
by Soumya Kundu on Mar 12, 2013 12:08 PM  | Hide replies

This entire fiasco reminds me of the Grg Chappel-Dravid collaboration, which tore the Indian team apart a few years ago. From being the World Cup runners-up in 2003, India managed to get knocked out of World Cup 2007 in the group stages, by Bangladesh!! All in the name of "Discipline" and "Team Spirit".

so you say, indiscipline to be tolerated and over looked above national interest. Thats what indian cricket board does, always.

No, what is meant here is that discipline is a culture that could not be created by shock treatments only particularly when you have already lost two tests. Now, they would say the loss is small cost for discipline. Rubbish, disproportionate.
