CRICKET AUSTRALIA COMPLETELY GUTTED.
by damodaran mohan on Mar 12, 2013 05:18 PM

Simply stunning ! Yes, the quick turn of events of the Aus touring side is getting curioser and curiouser by the day. On Monday when the first reports of the suspension of the 'gang of four' trickled in the question was if the 'series' turning into a one horse race? But the rapid pace at which the chain of events are happening makes one wonder if there would be a race at all ? It is virtually mutating like the uncontrollable nuclear fission reaction going super critical and exploding! The radiation fall outs are sure to cripple Aus cricket for a long time while even affecting world cricket. There were murmurs and the team did give an impression things were not all that normal from within. There were reports of Clarke-Watson stand offs of Dhoni-Sehwag type during India tour of Aus. but no one expected things to deteriorate to this extent so fast of the famed Aussies! Possibly the problem started after Shane Watson was recalled from Champions league matches mid-way. In fact more than the Aus players it is CA which seems to have buckled under pressure and got gutted because the suspension could not have occurred w/o their consent. It could be also that CA wants to rebuild a young side ahead of the ashes series next month. This could be a good excuse for CA to weed out the bag eggs .Another curious thing is the silence of the Indian ex-cricketers and greats on the matter even after two days. Their silence is simply deafening !

The Aussies have done the right thing. As far as we are concerned we need to a) take a lesson from the way the team has tried to maintain discipline where the team welfare is deemed more important than individual's importance and b ) if the team has been weakened by this action let the Indian team prove it be handing out a 4-0 defeat

REVERSE SWING

after humiliated performance of our team last year during the tour of enland& australia, our selector follow the policy of sab chalta hai., instead of fixing responsibility.,a total contrast to professional attitude.

Our selectors should learn from this action taken Aussies. when selectors kick out the Shewag due to non performance in continous 10-12 match the our ex seniors players like Ganguly show the finger to Dhoni, but he did notice the non performance of the Shewag, okay u keep him till the retirement and worship him because he is one of the greatest player of the India and let go the other junior player to hell

FOOLISH IDEA
by Shilpa Mehta on Mar 12, 2013 01:10 PM  | Hide replies

What a foolish way to deal with players .
It was Pattinson who took few important wickets , rest all were ordinary .
Watson was vice captain .
What difference it was going to make by giving your views / presentation on your
own & team’s improvement ?? Was it so important aspect ?
Any way , let AUS do anything , they are going to lose 4 - NIL .
They cannot survive our lethal spin attack .

it is like saying

what is the need to practice.
we are great.
even if we loose in indian soil what ? we will host india and repeat the same result which we got in india ?
either way we are getting our money.
we are great and we can do what ever we want
