If Badrinath should have been included, it shou have been some 10 years ago, when he was in peak form scoring century after century and topped Indian Ranji Trophy matches for more than a decade. Now he is old, past his prime. He could not even find a place in South Zone team. He was very unlucky. If he had been given one tenth of chances of Murali Vijay, he would have established himself well into Indian Team. Now only Rahane or Majoj Tiwari should be considered.

I had seen Mr Rangachari's views in this forum in the past. He is totally biased towards TN players. If you ask him he will say " Incude Abhinav Mukund, Baba Aparajith and even Malolan Rangarajan. You see.

he is not biased. The selectors are biased. they give chances only to Northies. I believe Rangaa is a decent analyzer

Badrinath is past his prime and he is no youngster but dont say that he is not technically well equipped than Kohli and Pujara. When he was in peak form, he was the best (not comparable to Pujara and Kohli)> Kohli failied so many times he was given atleast 10 to 15 chances after failure. But Badrinath failed in just 2 innings that too with south african fast bowlers, he was dumped. Whereas Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma,Kohli and others were given so many chances and failed time and again. But still more chances were given. Take Murli Vijay how many times he failed, he was given chances again and again.

Somehow you are correct.. Technically, badri is better than Kohli but not Pujara... But as a overall player, Kohli is far better than Badri, bcoz Badri can't score like Badri

I agree Badri didn't get his chances, but then it was anyways very tough to get in the team. Where would have Badri fit-in? You had Sachin Dravid Ganguly Laxman Sehwag/Gambhir..sum times luck also matters. We cn say he wasn't lucky enuf.

Luck plays an important factor, not only in cricket but every facet of life. Not all bus conductors who smoke cigarettes become Rajnikanth. Its all fate.

Do you know anything about cricket? Mohali is not a dead pitch, will assist fast bowlers rather than spinners. Know things and then comment.

If at all Pujara doesn't play, the player to make a comeback will be from Punjab. Who? Keep guessing.
