eng although went down in first innings, amended their mistakes to more than compensate first innings debacle with second innings fight.

finn fought brilliantly for 5 hours keeping one end tight.

Considering about 300 runs lead conceded to NZ in the first innings, this is considered a great draw by English team. They deserve to be the No.1 test side.
