this is what is true blue aussie double talk and contunuation of their mind games...this hayden character is anothe a**hole who should not be paid much attention...personally, dropping viru was more or less the right thing to do and force him to play domestic cricket for a change and that will blow his already oversized ego..!!

Viru's run drought seems to be more of intentional (atleast he gives the scope for such a feeling. He seems to be very lazy in playing the ball (one such occasion was when he played on in chennai test). His mind is more worried about donning the mantle rather than playing for the team. Anyways, it appears the end of the road with youngsters like Dhawan making his appearance. Good Bye Viru, we'll miss your swashbuckling cricket.

Then let him score a 300 in a first class match..

He should be grateful to the chances he received. On an other era, he would not have even get to play in the indian side ever..

Absolutely, correct dear. Few persons dont have experience of facing the new ball coming at the speed of 140 or more.It was only Viru who scored 4 on very first balll of the every match in the world cup India played and viru faced. No such records for other openers.

what abt the chances given to Mr dhoni, who is doing nothing. Can't keep the wickt @ 150 speeds of Yadav and Arron. Dhoni did nothing but encashed the outcome of a very talented team first with Rahul, Schin, Viru, Gouti and now with new comers. his personal contribution is a big ZEEEEErooooo.

Why he was dropped?
by Ramakrishnan S on Mar 10, 2013 12:15 PM

These players have no say before their ACB but they comment on BCCI. More over Australian cricketers play mind game more often than not to win over opposition. Better if one looks positive.

If selectors had dropped Bhajji, Heyden would have said "Bhajji would have taken 10 wickets on Mohali Pitch". Do not believe that master cook. Something else always cooks in his mind.

Heyden would have scored more hundreds, if he had been continued in Australian team after a poor show for quite a long time-this another person can say. But did Australian selectors placed him in their team for this long period? All are hypothetical only. For sehwag to score another 300 can our team wait eternally, if it is beaten time and again?

We want a consistent performer not somebody who scores 200 / 300 to retain ones place for the next 30 test thereafter averaging less than 30.

how much you know cricket? I remember Sachin was trashed way back in 2003 by arm chair analysts. He is still playing strong, I am sure Sehwag is a player who will be back, its just Dhonis dictatorship which is taking BCCI for a ride, I dont see anyone better potential than Gautam Gambhir but he is trashed, what is common between two is both are Delhi players in IPL. Whom Dhoni is promoting as Chennai Super Kings

absolutely correct. Its dhoni's dictatorship. You might have remembered when he recalled complete unfit and out-of-practice left arm pacer Rudra Pratap instead of other 100% fit bowlers like Arron or Yadav. Dhoni's intension are to go with the slow medium pacers, as he is unable to collect and can't keep @ 150 speed of Yadav and others. Even Ishant who could bowled more than 140 (average) is supposed to bowl not more than 130. only by Mr. Dhoni..
Abt Viru, once dhoni goes out, he will come back with a bang.

You know Viru first test 100 was ag South Africa in SA. Second one was ag Australia in Brisbane. Fourth one was against NZ in CrCh.
He has tripple hundred in Test, Double in One dayer and a hundred in T-20, still you are calculating averge of such a talented player? Pl think before u speak.
