so can sehwag. As a batsmen, sehwag is far better than saurab. Of course what he doesnt have is the bcci head backing him, the way dalmia backed ganguly inspite of 3 years of non performance, even going to the extent of including him in the team as a "all rounder" (dalmia must have had a personalised definition of all rounder i.e someone who can either bat and bowl or be in the dalmia camp).
If sehwag had been selected this guy would have said youngsters should have been given a chance. Sunil Gavaskar has started sounding like Rajdeep,Barkha,Sagarika,Prannoy etc....
This is the same Gavaskar who was leading the chorus that Dhoni is not fit fot test and he doesn't have technique to play Test cricket.
After the first test again Australia, the same Gavaskar declared that Dhoni got a new style of captaincy and outstadnging player...and Dhoni can lead the team till 2019..

This guy lost charm. He is a politician. His commentary also has no taste. VVSLakman is doing good now. He is at least straight forward and gives very good views... little bit of acsent should be improved and Gavskar should be thrown out of the Box
