Congrats to both players for applying themselves to play the record 2nd wicket innings laying foundation for another likely win for India. While Murali Vijay overcame his match jitters and pressure to play a restrained but responsible innings but he has to now pass the “repeatability” test by coming up with more such consistent big knocks. Pujara on the other hand was virtually toying with the Aussie bowling. Pujara has proved himself and has established himself as one of the long term TEST prospects for India the way he has shown his hunger for runs and exhibiting the attitude for playing long innings repeatedly. What is remaining is to prove himself by coming up with big score on foreign soil which should not be a problem for him given the background of his performance so far.Another Indian longstay prospect Virat Kohli should also try to emulate Pujara to develop the temperament to stay long on the wicket and not throw his wickets after hitting century.Other youngsters lie Jadeja,Rahane, Tiwary etc should also be groomed on thsese lines.Simultaneously it is time for drawing exit plans for seniors like Sehwag,Sachin etc. At least Sehwag certainly needs to go back to domestic cricket in case he desires to extend his cricketing Test career.All in all Indian Test side rebuilding seems to be taking off in the right way.

The crowd is willing to throng the stadium to prove that they do not need better facilities. And as long as the stadiums are full why should the authorities worry about giving better facilities? I think we Indians need self respect and dignity a bit more
