Indian CT win
by coimbatoreflow controls on Jun 25, 2013 01:14 PM  | Hide replies

My hearts goes with all. But your too high praise for dhiwan and Jadeja might end in reverse results in furthur. Too much expectation would result in unwanted tension for these two guys. I feel Ashwin is lucky in this regard. Do not forget he is Dhonis trump card. Whenever he was introduced he was getting a wicket. IN the final also he held Three catches and Two improtant wickets.
Similarly Kohli, Bhuva. Ishant everybody did a good work. So do not single out Dhawan and jadeja.
All team members are Praise worthy.

if the team really is an indian team, they should donate their bonus of Rs.1.cr given to each of the team members to the relief fund for u.p flood victims... they willl then be really called the HEROES...shikar dhawan did dedicate his trophy as best batsmen to the hundreds of lives lost in the calamity...

as for donating is concerned...i guess that no common man to donate a single paise....each politician must be forced to donate between 10 lakhs to 10 crores depending on his position in the party and society...they have money..they have our money..assuming there are 50,000 politicans....OMG...big money

Bedi is one with big mouth with no brains. He thinks he was a super cricketer of his times...
Better he shut his mouth or do something more productive instead of always ranting in the media...

If Bedi wants to do something productive, he should offer to train Jadeja and Ojha and make them better bowlers.

No Celebrations please
by S Shrikanth on Jun 25, 2013 11:37 AM  | Hide replies

The country is facing unprecedented crisis at the moment. Hundreds of thousands of family members all over India are affected due to death of their kins in the worst disaster in Uttrakhand. The Nation is crying with wounds and pain and it will take long long time to get out of it.

Additionally, the country is also facing serious financial crisis and 1.8 crore people have lost their jobs in the last 4 years due to Govt's indifference.

Cricket team has done well, but match fixing charges loom large on them (including including this tournament. Who knows what was behind this good performance as other teams gave up so easily!). Dhoni's financial scandals and his wife's nexus with bookies needs serious probe. There could be more players in this scandal. So, nothing to celebrate here.

Look who is talking and that too in praising mode..Bedi Ooops. It's unbelievable I am sure Mr Bedi and Amarnath are the 2 of the biggest critics of MSD. However the former turned admirer! Where is later who was asking to remove MSD as captain some time back..I feel that some of Old crickets are more jealous than anything else from Our Modern days crickets as the young guns are getting more limelight and money for what they did.
