buying matches..? this is something new..? do you have solid proof..? just do not blame just for the sake of blaming...for some people anything indian is not acceptable..I know there were complaints about fixing in football (worldcup matches), tennis, and hockey too..
to study why our players proved that they are the best among all cricket playing nation. Is it not without any pressure from bookies / under world they were able to perform with high notes. We request BCCI to study and provide full support to our players to maintain the same wining momentem...........,

this is ofcourse natural, so many people might have come and gone, all types of colours, rang bhirangi...hahahahah
It was one of the greatest all time finals in both types(20/20,ODI) of cricket. Unlike the one sided semifinals, it was an absorbing final with India, the better team waiting till the last ball to come out victorious. Great finals, good fight by both the teams, good sportsman spirit, good result. well done India, well done shikhar, Jaddu. Congrats Dhoni. Is my following feel not so patriotic and somewhat anti-national. The English batsman tried to play the last ball into the cover/gully region. Even if he had connected it, may be he would have got a four at best, where as England needed a must sixer. Instead,he should have come out and tried lofted shot over mid-wicket/long-on/mid-on. Had he been successful in such an attempt, England would have been winner and Bopara would have been Man of the match. what I mean is,Bopara should also should have been given the man of the match along with Jadeja. Performance must be given due credit and honor, irrespective of the result for deciding the "Man of the match". Anyway, well-done India. Congrats Dhoni.

Stop trying to side-track the issue. The better team won and would have won with bigger margin if Dhawan, Kohli, Karthik, Raini, Sharma & Jadeja had hit centuries!!!

forget Yuvraj, Ganguly, Kumble, Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, you cannot live in the past...there were many like him...the present under the able leadership of Dhoni is the best..
None of the teams showed any interest in winning like they already knew India was going to win the finals!
At least 5 - 6 players from each team either play in the I P L or want to play in the I P L, so they didn't want to "upset" the owners of the I P L teams who also own Indian businesses which make a lot of money by using I P L players as models!
I P L is going to kill Cricket!
Finally, we Indians get to destroy something that is cherished and loved by our former rulers, the British!
Our independence struggle martyrs will be so proud of us for doing something they had to die to do!

None of the teams barring the subcontinent teams has any interest in ODIs... Australia,SA and England are just bother about test matches that too for England and Australia no other tournament matters more than Ashes... Hence ICC cudnt have afforded to upset the Indian Board from where 805 of revenue comes from... No wonder indian team won this ODI tournament and will win many more in future!!!
Re: Re: FIXED
by Venugopalan on Jun 24, 2013 11:53 AM
you cannot be Hindustani but khabaristani for sure. the way England, Australia, west indies and new zeland played the game with full strength and vigor they tried every trick in the book to win the game. but before the experienced and highly talented indian team every effort beccome useless. these countries are not after BCCI s 805 (measlesum) they are more richer than that.. you wanted to blame India.. and if India has lost you might have called Indian team totally useless..but fact remains that in Cricket India is No.1 and there is no comparison with any other country..jai hind.

All teams were beaten fairly & squarely. Stop criticising this team, which is playing like a team and that is the reason for its success. All credit to Dhoni for moulding this team. IPL should however be banned. Kapil Dev started the ICL, but had to abandon it because some crooks sensed the money possibility & ruled that no Indian Team player should play in ICL!!
I'll call it as a great final rather than a great victory. It was an exciting final that went to the last ball. It was anybody's game till the 6th ball of the last over was bowled. The batsman should have tried a lofted straight hit in long-on/mid-on/mid-wicket direction rather than trying to play in the cover/gully direction as only a sixer would have helped England to win the game. If that was successful, it would have been England's game and Bopara would have been the man of the match. What I mean is Bopara should also have been given the man of the match along with Jadeja. Other-wise, all credit to India. Any way, good fight by both teams, good sportsman spirit shown, great victory India. Congrats Dhoni. Well done India.
