m s d is very smart. he has clearly indicated that tendi was a useless player who did not play to win or responded when situation demanded it. he is absolutely right.
At last India won much awaited champion trophy . Dhoni has done great job and achieved unbeatable record for India . As captain India was No 1 in test ranking / One day ranking / Twenty world cup / ICC world cup and champion trophy . His name will go in history as most succesful captain for achieving all records . Hats off to Dhoni and his all teammates.

you are right... He is most wonderful captain not only for India, but in the world.
If anyone still says about Dhone being Just lucky....then it will be out of sheer jealousy...This guy is synonymous to success & confidence. That generation which thrives on emotional equation is a thing of the past. What that matters now is the result & only the result. Who brings that ? MSD in cricket & Narendra Modi in governance. The likes of Sachin and L.K Advani should give way gracefully and accept that their era is over.
This victory would not have been possible, had Sachin not retired. Thanks to Sachin for the unbeaten record in the tournament.
Before the start of the tournament, Dravid said, India will be missing Sachin in the champions trophy. But, young team India made its message loud and clear that Sachin and Sehwag are thing of past and are liabilities anymore.
You cannot call it luck beyond this CT 2013.. come on he is destiny child. Just look at how we speaks" I am not here to prove to anyone how good I am" when someone says that.. it shows supreme confidence in himself... Oh btw, he only back CSK players.. Jaddu/Ashwin/Raina.. if not who would have won it for us?

And he has backed Rohit throughout Rohit's career. Never seen Rohit in CSK either.
its amazing how this game is able to reach millions of households given that its played only by the elite 8. since its inception till now, it is not able to expand beyond 10 or so. for the sake of expansion, cant see chinese and japanese play cricket. now that we have got enough medals and cups in cricket, lets try to energise ourselves in other neglected games like hockey, football, shooting etc.
None of the teams showed any interest in winning like they already knew India was going to win the finals!
At least 5 - 6 players from each team either play in the I P L or want to play in the I P L, so they didn't want to "upset" the owners of the I P L teams who also own Indian businesses which make a lot of money by using I P L players as models!
I P L is going to kill Cricket!
Finally, we Indians get to destroy something that is cherished and loved by our former rulers, the British!
Our independence struggle martyrs will be so proud of us for doing something they had to die to do!
