only way we can lose is if match is fixed bcoz on a routine day.. we will beat England even with our young team, which i stil feel not the best, as ideal situation it shd have been mix of youth and experience. Others have been below par which has helped us...
More than rankings, past performance, I feel the form on the day matters in these ODIs. Certainly, luck also matters in this tournament, as rains are deciding the outcome of many a match.
Good luck India. As mentioned, play a carefree game with the heads well rested on the necks. You will certainly win it.
Going by form alone India is in much better position to win the 2nd ICC title than they were when they won the WC in 2011. England could be the 7th straight victims of the marauding Indians in England this summer. But for the vagaries of the so called the initial "English swing", skill or otherwise India look superior side in all deptts. and have looked invincible. England on the other hand weren't all that impressive in the league stages having lost badly to the SLans. In the semis they did look good especially with their pace attack and the initial “swing” , Trott’s calm anchoring etc. but the Proteas made things easier for them by living up to their reputation as the perennial “chokers”. India is not SA and they faced the reasonably good Pakistani pace attack at the very same venue very competently. It will be interesting to see if Rohit Sharma facing likes of Anderson gets to the luxury of throwing away his wicket for the 7th time in a row.The wicket is also expected to be dry and ‘turning’ to suit the Indians. Umesh Yadav is not bowling well and could give away too many runs in the ‘death’ to likes of Ravi Bopara,Butler etc. and so the 3rd spinner option beside preventing the run glut could also produce wickets. Among the English batters, J Trott looks most dangerous the way he is anchoring the innings till end w/o much fuss. Dhoni will need to have some special game plan for him and carefully plan

umesh bowling well, dont go by wickets.. ashwin getting wickets by luck no comments on that???thats our lack of thoughts we only look at result not performance actual...
Last CT and that too in their home land , and the ball is suspicioucly reverse swinging as ICC is allowing them to tamper the ball and no official is even raising the issue and Captain cook even said before semifinals 'That this time its our turn to win CT' looks suspicious
Its all a deal in WC ICC made sure we had all flat pitches to suit our needs now its returning favour.
