I agree what you said about Pakistan. That country itself is a shame to entire world, but look at Gulf, Turkey, Malaysia, Russia and so many. How much progress these countries have made. When you go to these countries look at their judicial system, cleanliness, governance. And what is India by the way? See how dirty the country is. See corruption in India, see inefficiency in India. Is India with a country of 1.2 billion population and 50 crore people under poverty line a progressive nation. World's hungriest and poorest live in India. And with naxals, maoist india too is not that safe

judicial system even in gulf is not that transparent as you might think!! Nor as fair... With petro dollar controlled by an autocrat having to serve only a population of smallest Indian state, lots of things are better possible, but you must agree with whatever limitions India has continually progressed to be right up there with the major powers of this world. India was, is and will always remain however humble but a giant as compared to its arch neighbours

Gulf is clean because 70% of its population is expats mostly from india and due to oil reserves.Turkey and malaysia because they are secular in nature.Russia is a former super power of orthodox christian community.
What we need to ponder is about the countries like pak/Afgan/ syria/iraq/somalia/sudan/eqypt/Yemen/tunisia and the list goes on.These countries apart from inneumarable western countries who are thriving on bail out from IMF/WB and fellow countries are much much worse than india in all parameters whether it is balance of payments/current accoutn deficit/ per capita income/ political stability and last but not least safety of its citizens from Terrorists like alquida etc.East or
West , india is the best inspite of millions of internal traitors

who wants to be Gulf and Malaysia?? these are countries where they chop hands and beheads people. Malaysia is a racist country where the Bumiputra has more rights than others. None, even come close to India for its ideals of democracy and secularism. Pakistan is horrible, it committed a Genocide on its own people in East Pakistan. India is the only good nation in the neighborhood!

We should clean up our back-yard before we can point fingers at others. India has everything, but the potential is under-utilized. Our leaders have not been able to instil a feeling of pride in ourselves.
Of course, Pakistan has a population desity comparable to Europe, having got the best arithmetic deal in the partition. But the mind-set of the Nation has been self-defeating.

Also the per capita income is little higher is because of tata, ambanis and wipro, else 40% are below poverty line in india, 60% of people in india don't have access to toilet. Only 60% literacy is there that too they counted people who have studied 5th std and not graduate. All types of disease are there. India financial capital mumbai or slumbai is one of the dirtiest metro in world..... the big things you talk about india is only because few tiny hold trillion dollar wealth... rest live vulnerable life. also india is divided and there is no unity amongst people. look at singapore there is 75% chinese population yet it is peaceful... here u have RSS, Bajrangi who are hooligans

Pakistan has the lowest literacy in the subcontinent. Lower than Nepal, Bangladesh. Its currency is lower than Bangladesh. Girls schools are destroyed and closed in Pakistan. Quetta seems to be a dead city soon.

pak is a forgotten arch rival
by wizardo id on Jun 17, 2013 11:34 AM

pak is no longer an arch rivals. they were good when they played on their terms in grounds that were friendly to them - dubai and other places. australia was our arch rivals, now it seems it is england who have got the better of us on more than a few occasions. so it really follows who is playing better at the moment. the arch rivals tag still lingrs for pak because marketing guys love good trps

Why are you so worried about Sania? First you disown the girl who has brought the maximum laurels for women in India in the international sporting circuit & now you have these rude comments to offer. Shame on you & your filthy ilk.

Cut lets only notice and praise the performance of a cut let, this is what i dont like about you guys, you are so centered around your own religious group and blame other if they do the same. Ever heard of PT Usha, S Nehwal, Mary kom, Shiny Abraham, Bula choudhary there are more, all these women have achived more then your sania can ever dream of, all your sania does is get out in the 1st or 2nd round of major tournaments.

maximum laurels ? you mean her bouncy assets ? sania dint achieve squat.

you must have confused sania with saina nehwal - who is the real achiever and the flag bearer for women in India! sania only did some ads and was popular for her heaving top.
