Guys - I dont know what to say about this guy. On one hand I deeply admire his cool and composed attitude, his success - on the other hand I hate this money-mongering and mingling with business interests. What kind of a person is this? He is embroiled with rotten business people and adverts. I mean how will you feel if every advertisement shown during a cricket match features the captain who asks you to buy honda to eat potato chips. Although I am not a fan of regulations I now have the feeling that there should be a big investigation into what all Dhoni has been doing. Can this country produce nothing other than kleptocrats?
Ravi Shastri the pioneer of cricketers endorsements started the trend when Tendulkar became a celebraty at a very young age. There was no conflict of interest as none of them had any shares or interest in the firm that promoted Tendulkar to the Adv.world.Cricketers competed with the film stars for the space in the endorsements.MSD has gone beyond the principles. If he is no more a share holder of the Rhiti sports why the ruckus now?He is the best captain India ever had!!!

hahaha. rediff is just a place to show off our anger/frustration to the world. whether one reads it or not is a different issue. value of our comments is nothing to the world but has value only to us.
