Lagalising ??

Legalising Betting will bring control and identify the players. Similarly legalising prostitution will solve problems of rapes in big metros as the transient bachelor population will have a let out.

All the people entertainment system are better regulated and legalized to avoid issues, we cannot have Police person at every place for monitoring and controlling illegal activities of 120 million people which only leads to bribing and irregularities

Legalizing betting???
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jun 07, 2013 07:10 PM

Legalized or not, betting on games will continue...happens everywhere.
By legalizing it, govt at least get a bit of the action in the form of taxes and the abilty to keep tabs on the "industry".
So, will legalizing betting on games stop match-fixng?? Probably not...
One may have suspicions of "match-fixing" but proving it is very difficult unless someone in the "game" spills the beans...
If the price is right, some players may take their chances and fall prey to temptations...
It's always about the money!!!

Yes either way. In our corrupt system, the match fixing is going happen wheter we legalize it or not..

Just imagine that a nuclear powered nation of 1. Billions can't pin down the biggest enemy of state, Dawood Ibrahim. How do you expect them to stop match fixing?

Police shirking responsibilities
by chunjaru on Jun 07, 2013 05:46 PM

EPL is 10000 times more lucrative for fixers.....that doesn't stop betting in UK...It is the duty of the police to make sure fixing doesn't happen. Then the police have to make sure women dont come out to stop rapes.....this shows inefficiency of the policing in India.
