Betting itself is not the evil just like alcohol is not an evil. It is the habit and the overdoing. Drinking and betting within healthy limits for fun is ok. But if you make it a source of money and overdo it then it leads to evils like spot fixing and match fixing. The topic is debatable. Just like many people here don't drink at all as they think that drinking is an evil while other would say that they drink for fun.

Did we view matches, which were fixed? If the answer is yes, this is the 9th wonder in the World. Even if the people new it like Kolkottans, they would still have watched a fixed game. That is why we deserve 9th Wonder.
Leaving behind all their afire in life these so called rich and famous leave no stone unturned to suck each drop of money blood from every beehive they come across like bees. They have no work to work for society excepting sucking every pie for their selfish gain
