i think this strike is '20' in one days and about 10 in Test matches.. thats 'Guts' and 'Gumption'

You might want to check that out. It does not sound right. He could stand upto Andy Roberts, Van Holder and Holding. He was like Geff Boycott

You must know about 3rd (or was it 4th) test in Jamaica (Sabina park) in 1976 facing Andy Roberts, Michel Holding, Wayne Daniels and standing upto them on an underprepared pitch without helmets which were never used then. 5 of Indian batsmen were seriously injured.

Perhaps these 30 and 20 runs may be because of bat cuts, misfields, leg bye etc.Ha ha ha. Really he was " Father of Defence ".
