It is totally foolish to expect good things to happen. Corruption has become a part and parcel of life since independence and its so deep rooted now that it cannot be cleaned. Talking about no-corruption is just making People Foul. There is corruption in everybodys life today including the most trusted Defence (the most corrupt), Education System, Sports, Govt Food supply system, and in every little thing you can imagine.
No one can get into the BCCI if they are not corrupt, have political connection, or some connection... how its going to be honest!!!
its total fixing by bcci coterie of fixers only. now i dont trust anybody in this coterie. bcci never does any act even during 1999 fixing scam, they did just few things to 'show' as if they hv done something. even during 2007 odi wc debacle in wi, to silent anger of general they 'showed' of as if action is being taken (like ban/limit on player endorsement, etc.) only to retract later when public outcry was calmed. its fans like us, whose memories r shortlived, r responsible to feed their greed, n being more n more corrupt day by day.
Those who have gained from the true potential of our country have always been the opportunists. But that being a universal rule, how come a wimp like Lele who had no qualification to be a part of BCCI and also made a prediction during his days of rule that India will lose 3-0 to Australia on their tour down under gets his views published in the media? He is a pathetic time server himself.
