The whole matter of Srinivasan-SreeSanth-Bindu Dara Singh-Guru Nath is connected to IPL.So why did Rajiv Shukla allow the IPL to continue till final and then only resign. Is he showing favour to the nation?

Please include the name of Rajiv Shukla , the Union Minister and recently resigned from IPL Commissioner'a post. The most powerful and responsible post he holded for two tenures.
Rajiv Shukla being the commissioner of IPL is either co conspirator or incompetant to handle the situation. He did not keep watch on the developments of IPL.Even many other players of repute ignored the happenings took place around them .Even commentators could not able to anlalyze the fixing, who used to watch carefully and analyxe every ball and every player.
Re: Lalit Modi's argument has valid point

what prevents lalitji to step in mumbai is he afraid of arrest like parvez musharraf or else? England role is doubtful as Britishers take extra precautions to allow indians to allow over stay in Britain but Lalitji is staying as if he took political asylum?
IPL chairman, by his belated resignation has noly tried to pull the wool over peoples eye, for IPL ceased to exist the moment T20 League got over. Its a classic case of too little too late for him. Moreover, perhaps he also could have faced tremendous pressure from none less than Congress Vice president to quit the Cricket Body, if he has to remain as minister in the central govt.
