by Rohit Maroli on Jun 02, 2013 09:20 AM  | Hide replies

Rajiv Shukla is as corrupt as they come, like all politicians and bcci officials, period. But look whos talking, a former ipl commisioner who scretly held rajasthan royals (under some relatives name, may be he still does ) ....and raking in lots of moolah.... how else can he stay put in London....??? For so long...?? He should stop shooting from his motor mouth ...as it is nothing happens in this country which we are ashamed to be in.... wat happ to Robert Vadhra or Sonia or Kanimozhi or Karunanidhi...or Ajit Pawar or Sharad Pawar... all are classic examples...be rest assured people nothing much will happen to gur n srini too... all this arrest n all is an eye wash.. tese people are never in jail...tey just sign the muster n sneak out of the back door in their home comforts without anyone knwoing....tats the truth !!

First read the law. Although thee peiople have been arrested but they have not committed any crime under Indian Penal Code. The law to prosecute these betting activities is still to be framed. They have committed MORAL wrong. But has anyone arrested for moral wrong without a penal provision? Take the case of Azharruddin; despite being banned for life he is enjoying in Parliament as CONGRESS MP.

Moodi dogg,u surrender your self before law & then barkk.
This is what all along i am writing.Shukla is the no 1 culprit since he is the IPL commmissioner.
Srini is not responsible for his son-in- law's wrong doing.
If it is the case why Soonia/MMS not resigned for the umpteeenth time for the corruption of the upa minnisters ?
Robeeertt waddera is a crorepathi within 3 yearrss why he was not arrrreeesssttteeedd ?
Redifff please don't publish crrroooks views.

Shukla's resignation doesn't absolve him of IPL mess: Modi
by Sasidharan Nair on Jun 02, 2013 07:43 AM  | Hide replies

At least on this count;only on this, Modi is perfectly correct! Shukla's proposed resignation is to help the UPA govt free from yet another buring issue from and out of his own dubious role in the IPL mess! As a Cabinet Minister & responsible member of Board, what was he doing when Srinivas and his associates were doing entrenchment in IPL field? Shukla's resignation is a face saving measure in Congress Camp!

Shukla has not done something great or resigned on moral grounds. His term has ended and he has stepped down.Once the IPL is over the IPL Chairman has to step down and a new IPL Chairman has to be appointed.Shukla's term was for two years. He is fooling the public and casting himself as a great crusader for ethics. He is equally responsible along with Srini for the mess in cricket.

Let Pawar if he assumes office have Robert Vadra as the Secretary and Raja as the Treasurer.
