these matches hold no value at all
by Chaitanya Kale on Jul 15, 2013 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

matches involving England,Australia and New Zeland have Zero value, because they are equal to Ranji matches. For both countries English Queen is the president.

Excellent logic. All cricket matches have Zero value because Nature controls every single nation including Ranji teams. Agree?

Interesting

It is interesting how people are supporting England just because Australia was not nice to them in a game of Cricket! British ruled the country for 150 years and sucked out so much of wealth leaving us to be a poor third world country!!

I don't think you need to watch cricket. :)
Just go to cricinfo once a year to see who won how many matches.

Shame on England & Third Umpire
by Saravanan Selvaraj on Jul 14, 2013 07:08 PM  | Hide replies

England Must announce through press conference that they lost the match and they must ask ICC to change the record Officially, Otherwise I see there is no reason for a audience to watch the test matches anymore.
St. Broad - Must be banned from Playing Cricket forever.
Al. Dar - Must be hanged in front of Public, a catch goes to first slip and he is not signaling that as out, then what for he is standing there.

At least Eng never wins the Ashes in a pure spirit; even in 2005 when they won 2 game against to Aus they won by cheating.

So they started on the same node here once again after 8 yr's and let them win this ashes also on the same manner.

Over all It is great First test match and well played Third Umpire. Many congrats to Aus for fighting & playing against 14 Eng Player (11 2 on the field and 1 on the Room).

Rightly said. Aussies are great cheaters. They humiliated entire Indian team in Monkey case against Harbhajan. Aussie cricket is dangerous as they lack proper sportsman spirit. They ruled cricket for many years but that supremacy ended by India through Dravid & Laxman in that immemorable Test with follow on on India & fought back. Kudos to England for victory.

The way you gave kudos to England, I presume you also gave kudos to Australia for thrashing us 4-0 when we visited there last.

Again No sympathy towards Aus, I wrote as a pure cricket lover. In fact I wish ICC could have done something during that IND Vs AUS Series itself. I was not the one supporting ponting & Co during that test match. one thing we must remember that time only the field umpire made mistake, but in this match Filed Umpire, third Umpire and the technology the 3rd umpire used everything killed what suppose to be great 1st Ashes test match.

one thing is very sure, cricket is no more played as Sports,
First the match was fixed by Batsman then by bowler and then later by umpire. So it is not worth watching matches anymore even for time pass.

The era of Australia over since last 2010 onwards which is taken by India like WI era taken by Aus 25 years back...

What a match it was, just like triangular final WON by India in last over...

Nobody can expect India & England will WIN both matches !!!
But Dhoni & Anderson matters !
