With the comfort of having won the tri-series, let us not forget some serious issues with the team. No doubt, MSD is the best finisher on earth and has bailed out the team on numerous occasions. What the other top and middle order batsmen are doing in the team? Why is it left to poor MSD time and again to earn the team a win out of hopeless situations? Why can't the any of the top or middle order batsmen hold one end and play a longer innings? Why are they content making some 30, 40 runs which is enough to safeguard their career? Instead of showering praises on their captain, let them play their role to perfection first!
Having chosen cricket as a career, isn't it wise for Ashwin to workout on his fitness? He needs to shed at least a 10 kgs now or quit from the game and choose a career in engineering. Again, on that day he hasn't bowled even 1/10th of how Herath bowled and yet, what stature he's bestowed upon! Does he deserve it? Is he a strike bowler for us really taking 1 Wkt/match? Does he need to play across to that Herath delivery when all he had to do was to take a single once in 2 or 3 deliveries and leave the rest to his captain. Ashwin today is a grossly overrated player and does not have a cricketing brain to play according to the situation.
is fortunate that d batsman are not facing bowlers lyk mcgrath,bond,donald,akram,akhtar,yunus,vaas,warne,murli,pollock,ntini which Sachin,dravid,laxman did else....
only world class bowler this time is steyn who can be compared with legendary bowlers...

It is fortunate that mcgrath,bond,donald,akram,akhtar,yunus,vaas,warne,murli,pollock,ntini are not facing the likes to dhoni, otherwise they would be reduced to most average bowlers

very well said ABj, if those bowlers were here today dhoni would have done the same to them ....like he has hit bowlers like shoaib akhtar, malinga, johnson star, steyn morkel, pollock, ntini and others...
it is the luck of bowlers like mcgrath donald akram etc that they are not here to get hit by dhoni

I agrree With you sunil Pollock, Mcgrath,murli Warne,Lee Akram Akhtar Were all world Class.Dhoni Would have failed in front of these Champions Bowlers.

Dhoni can't make centuries like Virat...... becoz Dhoni comes in to bat at No.6 or 7...... he doesn't get those many Overs.... to make centuries in T20s & ODIs

Scoring Valuable & Match-Winning runs for the team..... is more important than the Amount of runs..... Dont understand why people are so obsessed with just Centuries.....
