Thats the best e.g of Indian s overhyped bowling.. we lost a narrow game to Windies not bad.. but ag Lanka our bowling was the prime reason.. Ashwin ishant however good u call them they cant be better than Zaheer bhajji simple they cant achieve half figures also rohit and VIJAY ARE kids infront of sehwag yuvraj gambhir..s o we need to play our best team atleast 2015 WORLD CUP THEN THINK OF PUTTING YOUNGSTERS SO THAT we dont suffer like today

by Ajubabu on Jul 03, 2013 04:02 PM  | Hide replies

why CSK players not performed upto mark (may be Dhoni fearing ab't retun of Captaincy if under Kohli Team played well like Sachin did when Ganguly got captaincy)?

First Rohit needs to cement his place , he and vijay are overhyped players..Second u cant win with only youth need Yuvraj, gambhir, bhajji, zak.. Stop living in euphoria. CT win was afluke... bcoz of Shekhar Dhavan and jadeja..others were mediocre including rohit, rians etc..

YOUNG TALENT ??
by Shilpa Mehta on Jul 03, 2013 02:19 PM  | Hide replies

Those people who were shouting till now to include New talent / Young players must have realised one thing for sure . That is - - -
Team should always have correct blend of experienced as well as young players .
Now see the condition of the team having only young players - - - Lost shamefully to Lanka .
Firstly , they allowed Lanka to score massive 350 which was almost impossible to chase .
Secondly , 350 cannot be chased against any team without experienced players like MSD , Yuvraj , Gambhir in the team .

Who told you that you have any knowledge of cricket? What level of cricket have you played, apart from your hallucinations over the rediff pages?

You mean to say that one has to necessarily hold the Bat to have knowledge on Cricket. Hats off to your pea sized brain!! I have good knowledge about WWII but never hold a Gun.

Fatigue i suppose
by IAN VAZ on Jul 03, 2013 01:02 PM  | Hide replies

I think it's high time India should stop depending on M.S. No doubt M.S. has been a wonderful Captain and has set an example for the rest of the players but, after all he is aging now and India needs to groom a new smart captain. I feel that Rohit Sharma is the right player who has done it in the past captaining the Mumbai Indians.Kohli on the other hand seems to be under a lot of pressure which is effecting his batting skills.

Kohli not ready for leadership
by vaibhav kumar on Jul 03, 2013 01:00 PM  | Hide replies

It does not seem that there is any handover or delegation process to groom vice captain Kohli drom Dhoni. The resultant is painful. Unlike Dhoni, the leadership does not come naturally to Kohli. Under him, a world no 1 team looks pedestrian. Also over reliance on Dhoni as a leader is a
sign of weekness.

The only option is to promote Rohit who looks more assured as a leader but then his batting performance does not gurantee a selection in playing 11.

Like all walks of life, here also India is inadequately prepared.

Did u know, under Kohli captaincy India got U-19 cup ? Kohli well handled all established players in RCB ? He is aggressive like Ganguly nor like Dravid / Dhoni ? Give him continuously 3 - series so that he can mentally prepared before Dhoni leaves captaincy after '15 WC ....
