No surprise that Windies got the better of them. Windies are a great team, even though they tend to be a bit inconsistent...but not this time... And by the look of things, they'll most likely be keeping the trophy down there too.
Something like a duckworth lewis method will not take into account the ability of tailenders to win matches for a team.For eg WI having a much stronger tail having a no.11 batsman who narrowly missed a test century.I believe even if they need 25 off 3 overs Roach,Narine or Best can do it.But in such a situation if rain came they will be the losers as they lost 8 or 9 wickets.

Had Yuvraj been there in middle order in place of Dinesh Kathik Team India could have surely scored above 250 & he also must have taken few wickets & won the match for us . Such a useful all rounder has been left out . Any way , Still it can be anyone’s tournament as each team plays other teams twice .

hehehe...many people want dhoni out of team....they dont want him either as a batsman or as a captain or as a wicket keeper...
this game again shows how much important he is in all the three roles...
many times we get into such situations like 120 for 4 in about 30 overs and then dhoni comes to bat and at the end of 50 overs we are many times scoring around 280 runs at least...dhoni has done this many times but yesterday hamstring injury affected his batting and india could not post a decent score...
still dhoni is very effective even in low scoring matches with his wicket keeping and captaincy...if it was dhoni in the charge yesterday we would have seen different story...
we saw a jhalak of what will happen if he is not there in such circumstances and some other wicket keeper and captain is there instead of him...
indian cricket fans once again it is clear who is india's best wicket keeper and captain....

he he hallucinating excuses. suresh raina captained india to a series win in 2011 without dhoni and other seniors. one fluke defeat will not have an effect on anything.

by seniors, or rather the more correct word would be older generation players like sachin dravid laxman ganguly kumble etc. we have won many times...
but you are so full always of words like quailty opposition pre-2008 sachin dravid laxman ganguly kumble etc. etc. etc... that you think without these guys in the team we cannot win...when the truth is when these people were in the team we did not really used to win all that much...the winning percentage only hovered around 50%...with juniors or rather the more correct term new generation players we have won much more times...
it is good finally you acknowledge it solid singh that we won more when sachin dravid laxman ganguly kumble were NOT in the team...than when they were in the team

but i can see that finally you are starting to realise your folly and are beginning to see the light and realize and finally accept the fact that not the older generation players (consisting of sachin dravid laxman ganguly kumble) but the new generation players (consisting of dhoni gambhir raina kohli pujara praveen ishant bhuvi yadav ozha ashwin jadeja etc. etc of which dhoni is the senior player are the real winners ....

It is a caste war by upper caste arm chair sports heroes. The insult him as 'dhoby' which again show their upper caste blue blood syndrome !! India is destined to be in doldrums, thanks to the upper caste domination in all spheres, though inadequately educated.

This suresh kumar like people are frustrated lot. Who blame upper caste for all their failure But will never learn from them how hard they work to achieve their dream. Looser will remain loosers.
