hehehe you are calling dhoni worst captain in tests when he led india to no 1 ranking in tests...besides he also has best stats than any other indian captain including ganguly...somebody who has 24 test wins against only 12 test losses is worst captain! Good Joke!
Dont F around with indian flag. Mess around somewhere else. kohli and dhawan need to sit out if they want show their game fixing power. It will give chance to youngsters like unmukt chand, pujara, etc. Since they already decided upon fixing and not winning. We dont expect india to win every match. But do we approve a private decisions made by certain players?? seems like certain players dont give up IPL habits. Dhawan and kohli made 11 and 11. In response, Gayle out for 11, sort of attempt to entangle gayle....what if entire indian batting decided to make 11 ? then we would have scored 111 and lost. But we would have canceled Dhawan and kohli habit to show their underhand habits. Even when they are good players. Do we allow private deals. Also bheneswar scored 11 to expose the iintent of 2 players who fell for 11.
looks like even ishant was party to it... then we need to bring out more pacers who can move ball around. They might not shine the first day but they will arrive sooner than later if we bring them and train them sooner.
Virat Kohli, who stood-in as captain during West Indies' chase in the absence of the injured MS Dhoni, said he had no choice but to be attacking in his captaincy in light of the modest total posted by India.
Somebody were speaking about a midas touch..... wasnt midas touch batting?
If I remember correct, the last time an Indian team visited the West Indies was in 2007 for the world cup.
10 of the playing XI of the present team (leaving only M S Dhoni) were not in that team of 2007.
Though representing the national team and playing for the first time in West Indies, this team showed remarkable courage, resilience and attitude to fight till the end.
I know that in a game there is no margin for ifs and buts, but if some efforts from one or more of Dhawan, Kohli, Karthik, Dhoni, Jadeja could have added say some 25-30 more runs, then the story would have been different, given the grit with which the bowlers and fielders fought.
Well done youngistan, keep the flag flying high. We common fans are totally with you, we love you, we support you.

You are absolutely right. Our players are very new to WI pitch and climate. Loosing and winning are part of game its only how you loose and win. Yesterday's match was thrilling and the result was not disappointing.

According to me the present Indian Cricket team is the strongest in consideration to other rival teams. But sorry to say in compare to previous Indian Team members most of the Cricketers are coming from poor background and under educated. Fore represent the country one shld have basic education and culture which is missing now a days .

These days WI team isn't more than a club class team. therefore don't compare their performance wrt to previous teams. Had it been 80's WI team than reaching 3 figure scroe by this should be considered like winning WC.

very well said venugopalan, dhoni does not run away from challenges and he can take defeat in his stride with as much equanimity as he takes the win...
whether it is win or loss he does not go overboard with either and is always calm and composed...
