I AGREE WITH COMMENTS IF INDIVIDUALS.NO IMPORTANCE IS BEING GIVEN IN MEDIA EVEN IN NEW PAPER LIKE CHRONICLE JUST LIKE A SMALL EVENT IN SMALL SPACE IS GIVEN.NOT EVEN FULL SCORE IS GIVEN
What a shame!all our News channels and Print media have so much time for rhetorics about the failures of our Sewaghs, Gambhirs,Harbhajans and no timeor space for Mithali Raj and co
Ok good, But there is some small correction ie., Instead of “ India thrash West Indies by 105 runs” “ Indian women thrash west indies women by 105 runs” is better I think so In this regard no more discussions why it means there is difference in mens and womens match a lot difference if saw above it is not good some are thinks that it is mens world cup?
Kudos to team India! You made us proud girls! Tirush, Niranjana, Julan ,Raut... well done! keep it up! What an utility player Julan is... both with the bat and the ball. bowling average of 1.6 R.P.O. outstanding... why did Mithali drop herself down in the order? anyway, all is well that ends well. I once again salute you girls! But, it wasn't a great sight to see not many in the stadium and to hear the feable claps during the presentation. The team deserves more spectator support...
Good victory & more importantly a good approach to batting...preserving wickets till the end & hitting in last 10 overs!!! Goswami's contribution as an all rounder is overlooked...quick 36 & very economic bowling..way to go..let's hope they keep the form & win the cup!!!
I am proud to be a Hyderabadi with Mithali doing so well in cricket. Shame on us that we do not encourage Womens cricket! They do not get even 5% of what the men get. There should be public outrage on this.
