mr dhob, even if assuming drs is made compulsory you will not see it being implied in all countries and all grounds...do you know how costly it is? and do you think all countries and all stadiums can afford it?

It is like Aero Bridges - they are costly but good - other wise Airports in India are like bus depots . It is not cost it is facilitating match fixing .

mr sv, correct. wealthy boards like aus, eng, sa can afford it. pauper boards like west indies, zimbabwe, kenya, ireland cannot afford it. so maybe we will see team-bcci touring these countries more.

mr dhob 2 wrong decisions by drs in the first day of the pak sa test itself...during commentary on cricinfo one of the commentators said that ''it is 0-2 for drs today and dhoni must be laughing in india with a beer glass in his hand...''

mr. vaidya, who was laughing? dhoni or bcci? perhaps you should have watched the match properly before shooting your hips out :)
When team-bcci was on the receiving end, was Dhoni or your bcci drinking urine?

This does not apply in this case, as the proposal was if host country is willing to use DRS then it should be allowed to do so. I think the suggestion was perfectly legitimate since cost will be borne totally by the host country, If they will they can bear the cost then they should be allowed to do so. In the recent Ind vs Eng series we saw how poor the level of umpiring was, even gully cricket has better umpires. And who said umpires cant be biased, i am sure they were in the last series.

The BCCI is flexing its muscles in the most unbecoming manner. I am embarrassed! Thanks to DRS Yuvraj was declared not out after an inside edge was detected after being ruled LBW in the WC final. If we had lost Yuvi at that juncture an India choke could have reared its ugly head. BCCI, get with the program and adopt DRS. It is not perfect, but then nothing is.
