The FC stats of S Kaul is ECO rate of 3.14 and SR of 48.1 where his ListA bowling stat is 4.36 with an SR of 32.6. Kaul has pace in FC and ECO rate in listA. Pandey and Shami is good as FC pace in Tests and ODI is better for Bhuv and Kaul.

For the Australia Test if Zaheer and Yadav are not ready, they can try out Shami and Kaul. Ishant may be ready with Shami.The problem is Pandey and Kaul are not played yet and Dhuv is an all-rounder.

Well Shami is good bowler bowls well to his limitations, Shami is not Junaid Khan or Steyn he had hard yards in front of him to deliver and keep improving.. only time will tell if Shami is good enough/ consistent at thsi level..

and i am talking about our best fast bowlers to date...kapil dev was our best and fastest spinner and kumble was our best fast bowler...
