India team needs more of Bhuvi's Pujara's and Shami's
by vaibhav kumar on Jan 28, 2013 12:23 PM

There are new kids on the block from teams like Punjab (Jiwanjot), MP (Jalal & Iswar Pande), Rajsthan (Robin Bisht), and probably many more...

This is possible when the franchise focused team India and its members, move away from their own benefits of playing for each others' interests.

Surely the domination of ODI is by chance as others are palying eqaully mediocre cricket, and not due to a great pool of talents and consistency in performance.

Of course the world number ODI team DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE ICC ELITE PANNEL UMPIRE, as mediocrity does not work there.

ODI numero Uno: Indian Team Not worth it
by vaibhav kumar on Jan 28, 2013 12:04 PM

The ranking system seems to be flawed and based on number of matches you play.

The team where the top batters jump up & down on livelier and bouncier pitches and struggle again part time spinners of England, can not be No 1 team in the world.

This suggests the MEDIOCRITY the world cricket is in at the moments.

Cricketers were performing in IPL or T20 are not performing for their country(Englend), India how bowed down against junior players of Pakistan and easy win over England.

I doubt it.

India is in the process of transition and that is effecting them...as of now INdia is not at all playing quality cricket...I think it will take some time for the team to come up to standards that was left by sachin, dravid, ganguly, laxmman and the coack Wright and Kristen etc. Lets wait and see...having said that, I would have preferred an Indian win over Pakistan that to come no 1 in ODI rankings. It hurts when INdia lose to Pakistan and that too in India...

Players like Pujara were denied to play a single match of the ODI, and also very shredly kept away from Ranji Final by a Mumbaikar (Sandip Patil) is not a gr8 planning. You can not be no 1 by winning "somehow". I recall the days when WI, Australia and SA used to be on the top, they hardly play mediocre cricket, which Team India do most often nowadays.

No discrimination. But it is boring to watch Women's cricket match. It's good to watch tennis, gymnastics, running, etc., cricket, football, hockey are mens game. Anyways we wish India to win in any games.

Yuvi 0 and Kohli 0 is fine???? while we have been trying off/on sehwag for ages along with off/on gambhir. Indian cricket XI failed because India(includes batsmen/bowler) lack mental toughness, otherwise, we would not need videshi imported coach, imported super-pm and bjp-congress cartel fooling people with fake opposition BJP. certainly, players like unmukt chand will get more chances. PLAY MORE INDIA TEAM A VS TEAM B IN DHARAMSHALA where it has foreign conditions.

rediff morons 3-2 is not impressive win... and wins were mostly due to bcci's money... and it will take england just one win before india will lose that # 1 position again...
