dhoni is the best player team india ever had. people forgot that he is the wicket keeper not a mainstream batsman. no one in india has that kind of batting record as a keeper.
Dhoni is a big waste in test(which require skill to face quality bowling) & T-20 (which require hitting skill from ball1). His stat is very poor as player & captain in these two formats. His record is only good in ODI courtsey more matches on flat wickets,umpire support, no. of not out inning & maximum manipulation possible in this format being easiest suited for avg batsman like dhoni

Dhoni has a fantastic record in ODI & T20, coming in to bat at No.6 or 7 he averages above 50 in ODI & above 30 in t20 which even great opening batsmen doesnt have. Surely he will prove himself in Tests as well coz whenever he faces criticism, he proves his worth always.
In Mohali run chase for 258 odd was a but too high and were lucky to win the 4th match.
The Runs for the seamers was just too high and Rohit and Raina were batting well.
The bowling were of Bhuv Kumar eco rate was too low and needed wickets were Shami was expensive. All three bowled 30 more runs in the last stages were Bhuv propected in the each.
We need one more look at S Kaul since Bhuv is look slow and small like Praveen Kumar. Dhoni needs to look at the present bunch but Vinay Kumar and Praveen Kumar comparison with Bhuv, Shami and also Kaul and Pandey.
The chase had too be around 200-225 in these situations
