why to frustuate a young dynamic test batsmen
by Manoj poojary on Jan 21, 2013 08:39 AM  | Hide replies

they shudnt have included pujara in the list as he has to just warm the bench in the team.it is not good for a young star test batsmen as that will demoralize him.let him warm his bed instead this winter.

to keep 4 fielders outside the 30 yard circle in non-powerplay overs. previously the rule was to allow 5 fielders outside the cirle in non-powerplay overs.

dhoni
by Rajesh Bangad on Jan 20, 2013 02:26 PM  | Hide replies

I do not understand dhoni's tactics which are terribly baffling. His policy is to insist with non performers and show good performers to heat benches. His selection policy is not with india's policy to win matches abroad and lacks any vision for world cup 2015. Jadu may be a good bowler against englishman who do not use feet and remain stranded in crease. Once you start hitting jaddu reaching to pithc of ball , he loses his confidence.

May be you have extraordinary skills to teach Eng how to play.

So Pak does not know how to plan spin ? Here is his bowling stats against so called weak players of spin.
10.0      1      41      3       4.10      6      1   ;          v Pakistan      Kolkata      3 Jan 2013      ODI # 3315
10.0      2      19      1& nbsp;     1.90      5      2             v Pakistan      Delhi      6 Jan 2013      ODI # 3316

Just look at his bowling stats and please shut up.

Hey chenni Tiger, I agree Jadeja has bowled well in these two matches but rajesh is against dhoni's policy in selecttion first........when Rohit was in his form of his life during Australian Tour he was kept for bench and allowed Kohli play inspite his continuous failures (No doubts on kohli's potential though) but he might have give chance to Rohit then in that dead rubber as we have already lost........but later when Rohit was absolutely disarray he was still perisisted in the side.....bench warming talents like Tiwari & Rahane.........And also performance with Pakistan can not be taken as bench mark as they are in-consistent batting side for quite long and also pitch on that day was deadly and result justifies the same...good bowlers are the one who still bowl tight or decent in batting paradise's.....

So called Jadeja's stats: Batting Avg of 28 & 10 in ODI's & T20's respectively along with strike rate in 80's...bowler Ashwin has better strike rate in both ODI's & T20 (120 %).....and that too most of his valuable contributions are in sub-continental conditions or against non sub continental teams with rare exceptions

Remember Sachin use to Bat at lower order for first 70 matches. He scored just under 2000 in 70 matches.

Good victory indeed, but I am surprised why Yuvi has not been given the ball when even Raina has bowled an over. Just 6 overs in 6 matches is not usual.

Dhoni will show him the door once he falter with bat. Bad politics. Ashwani, jadeja and Raina will remain in the team irrespetive to their performwnce.

PoorJustification
by BENEDICT BISWAS on Jan 20, 2013 08:44 AM  | Hide replies

Since Dhoni's captaincy is on the rocks, he's trying to justify his Chennai Superkings teammates such as Raina & Jadeja's position in the team. After so many failures by Jadeja, he finally succeeds in one match & accolades start pouring in from the Captain. What is Dhoni trying to prove after all ? He thinks most of the people are like him,....Fools..

Are you jealous, biased or retarded because you don't like somebody so write hate mails ? you commented Jadeja succeeds in one match – did you look at Jadeja's last 4 matches perf ? pak final odi – he was one of the key contributors with bat/ball/fielding to help India win. Against Eng, both ODIs India won, he was one of the super stars. Even the 1st match Ind lost vs Eng, he was the only one bowled economically at 4.6 per over & completed quota 10 overs, when both the teams bowling avg was 6.5. Don’t foolishly argue without facts. Check the current perf if you access someone, then Jadeja is definitely on a high ….

Ashwin I agree is useless, definitely not Jadeja with his recent decent performances. I just hope & wish Jadeja sustains like Dhoni who is ODI king (I am not just biased like you, infact I am for dropping Dhoni in tests).

Mr. Chenni tiger...ok lets think jadeja is great bowler...then go back to IPL.. being highest bid player..has jadeja justified his price tag off-late? Ignore just last few matches and tell me if Jadeja deserves his place with his performance over last 1 year......Actions speak louder than words.....dhoni says Yuvraj is not regular bowler and hence he is hisitent to use Yuvraj with new ODI rules then "how come he throws the bowl to raina? who is partly a part-timer....the logic is simple he is trying to create 5th bowler's spot to justify Jadeja's selection.......if jadeja is considered as bowling allrounder then why is he many times sending Ashwin ahead of Jadeja...I agree with giving long rope to youngsters but not at the cost of demoralizing good players like Tiwari, rahane & Ipathan.....if you can remember when pathan was selected back into indian team, he was also made to wait for long time just for jadeja....if you can remember it is absolute rediculous to bench pathan in Australia CB Series(Seaming conditions which best suited to swing bowler) and playing 3 spinners which back-fired and left with no other option only he has given pathan last few matches and since then pathan kept performing. I am too not at all biased as I do not even want dhoni to be dropped in tests but surely but relieve him from leadership and use his services as wk/batsman.....I am also ok with jadeja against non-sub continent teams in sub-continent but in I do not want him in Aus, Eng o
