Pakistan hits us where it hurts us the most: - Waging proxy wars, infiltrating, repeatedly violating ceasefires and exploiting our weakness of not retaliating hard.
I don't know why some have problem against hitting pakis where it will hurt them the most: - by not entertaining Pakistani artists, sportsmen, business people.
We either allow them or not allow them at all. Every time there is a hiccup in our relations with Pakistan, we become rigid for a few months and then relax our stand, as if nothing has happened. These actions have resulted in our country becoming a laughing stock amongst the comity of nations
While politics and sports or music should not be mixed, the Government of the day has to take a rigid stand, and till things are resolved to the complete satisfaction, maintain that stand and not keep oscillating like a pendulum.
Of course, with a weak and corrupt government like the Congress these things are to be expected.
If disallowing stops the rivalry, it is O.K. But it is not possible. So why should we impose such type of decision? The said players and the Artists are absolutely very simple like the general people of India. They don't hate us. They love the Indian culture.
