One would like to see on the top performance of its batters and bowlers is clear indicator reflected in the ranking which one should say below average.Emotions dont take us any where.We should be clear where we stand with no batsmen who can wallop the opposition and no bowler who can run through the opposition we can not hope to win matches against top rated teams.There nothing to be ashamed of .No 1 is not every thing .Playing well which is paramount for a reasonable contest. We dont require stars but players who have never say die attitude.We do not require players who break records but carrying the battle to the opposition camp.nurturing young talent requires patience -give them enough room for failures they will repay.For a while media should also forget hyping the rankings. Be realistic and avoid speculations.If we play well wins and ranking will be taken care of.
BCCI needs to fire the coach Fletcher before bringing any new players. Change in leadership is more important than recycling players. India needs to bring back four Assistant Coaches:
Batting Coach: Rahul Dravid/VVS Laxman Fast Bowling Coach: Venkatesh Prasad/Srinath Spin Bowling Coach: Anil Kumble/Maninder Singh Fielding Coach: Robin Singh
I would create three teams with three captains and three coaches - Test, ODI and T20 Teams.

good one.. Sehwag should come to middle order, but only after Sachin retires..also dont think MIshra has been in any good form..B.Kumar cannot be a good test match bowler i feel..

Rohit Sharma first class average is above 60. He deserves test debut but seletors are rushing him into ODI despite his ordinary List A average.

Dont know about tests, but at this moment he is good only for T20. Needless to say, he is a disaster in ODI.

Vijay in test matches?? I dont feel so... Also a bit disturbing to see no new spinners coming through...what happened to Rahul Sharma?? Injured?? also there were a couple of good spinners in our U-19 squad.. have they made any strides??
When India tour S.Africa this Year end, Stautory Warning shud be mentioned in all Media Channesls, Papers,etc to Switch Off the Television. Steyn, Morkel, Philander, etc would Rip/Tear apart the Indian Team. Prediction. 0-4 Loss for India with all by Innings Margin Defeat and atleast 2 times India would be Bowled out for less than 40 runs. Wot a Series for S.Africa!!!! The Lions(S.Africa) would be eagerly awaiting another Lamb in the form of India!!!!!
