TEAM INDIA AND JADEJA ARRIVE ON DHONI's HELICOPTER !
by damodaran mohan on Jan 17, 2013 05:01 PM

So team India and Jadeja make a grand landing at Kochi on Dhoni's Helicopter !After the loss at Rajkot no one was sure of India win leave alone the win of the emphatic type seen at Kochi. Although it was a team effort with the bowlers also chipping in with brilliant spells but the Dhoni-Jadeja show stood apart from the rest. After nearly four yrs of struggle and in his 2nd or rather 3rd come back to the Indian side Ravindra Jadeja seems to have finally arrived to fit the no.7 spot. Now it is for the team management and jadeja to build on it and graduate into TEST arena also. B kumar and Shami Ahmed too played their part.Ashwin was much more effective than what we have seen of him in recent times but he has to still improve a lot in his off-spin delivery body stance, ball spin&turn, line and length and so on. He may be a good bat at no.8 but Ashwin is yet to cement his place as the lead spinner for sure. On the other hand Raina has to convert his 50s into big scores..Last but not the least the other top order batsmen have to apply themselves better. One can't expect Dhoni to rescue the batting every time.

Wrong LBW decisions
by Jomesh George on Jan 16, 2013 12:46 PM

The poor LBW decisions are a cause of worry.Yesterday both teams suffered one such decision each.Yuvi was in good touch before he was given out LBW after gloving the ball.In England's case they lost all the momentum after Cook was given out LBW on a ball that pitched outside the leg stump.I admit umpiring decisions can be wrong. But whether there is a nick or where the ball has pitched can easily be identified by a small conversation with the 3rd umpire through walkie talkie. In the era of modern technology such wrong decisions are never acceptable particularly if it against a top order batsman who is in good form.

Job well done!

I think Yuvraj, Dhoni, Raina and Jadeja set this up with a high total. Kohli looked better but Pujara needs a chance. Watching Jadeja for consistent performance in next games.

Excellent bowling by Bhuvneshwar and Shami. Both pace bowlers are the find of this series and Dhoni needs to persists with them. Not convinced with Asswin who mostly took wickets of tailenders.

Agree Pujara is a better choice than Rahane or useless Gambhir.

True Value

.
Here you go...Now some people will believe value of Jadeja. Only he(and I.Pathan) has ability to bat well and bowl all full quota of overs.

Jadeja is much talented than R.Sharma and Ashwin (Compare his last 10 matches with Jadeja)
.

What's wrong with Bishen Bedi & Amarnath?

They both questioned Dhoni in Test cricket only. ANd they two are not the only to do so, many others have raised question mark against Dhoni as captain and a player in Test cricket..

No clue what you're talking about..

CrystalClear:
Where was Dhoni for the last one year??? Did you question that?
And BTW, where IS Dhoni after three Test series losses, two of them being whitewashes and the third being an ignominious home defeat occurring after about 25 years?
