Seeing the present state of Indian bowlers i assume how great kapil dev was.He was one of the most economical bowlers in ODI cricket apart from taking 250 wickets. He is known for his great catch of Richards in 83 WC final. But same match he has bowled 11 overs for just 21 runs and taken 1 wicket vs the powerhitting WI lineup.Eventhough many allrounders came after kapil like Prabhakar,Agarkar,Pathan nobody could really match him.
MUMBAI: With several lesser performers making it into the Mumbai Under-14 team for the West Zone league matches, parents of many talented youngsters are virtually up in arms. Some of them have laid the charge of nepotism, even questioning the entire selection process adopted by the MCA.
Among the most inexplicable exclusions is Don Bosco (Matunga ) School's Bhupen Lalwani: his unbeaten 398 against IES Modern School in the Giles Shield (Elite Division) should have made him an automatic choice. His knock came off 277 deliveries, was studded with 47 boundaries and even caught the eye of the connoisseurs. "I definitely expected my son to be picked in the team," Lalwani's disappointed father told TOI on Saturday
the great record master had requested BCCI to change the venue of ranji SF between Services and Mumbaifrom Delhi to Mumbai. How shameless he can be after playing so many international matches? Is he so crazy to break Gavaskar's record of first class centuries? ShameShame.

Krishnamoorthy: Did you EVER not crib in your life so far??? ROTFL...
Good batting pitch. 6 matches fully played (Ind v Aus washed out in 2010), 3 won by team batting first, 3 won by team batting second. However, India have the upper hand having won 4 matches here.

MSD says the last 2 overs by india was poorly bowled. how about saying that you selected wrong 11? Pujara in form can bat close to 50 overs anchor a run chase and many batsmen got 50 and out on that road of a pitch.

Exactly! Shami/Tiwary/Pujara were ignored for no reason at all.
I would disagree with Dhoni when he says he knew Dinda was a better bowler in the death than Shami.
Then, giving the last over to a virtually unknown bowler in T20 world cup (2007), or giving the ball to Jadeja in the first T20 against Pak defies all logic since neither of them could bowl yorkers...!
enough grass? which means you gotta still roll the pitch right..would take some some rolling to kill out every blade of grass..2 days of gardening still left..
