let him get money thru advertizement. but telling that he is an actor and then playing for india is not correct (that too who has played for india for so many years). he shd not forget that he got advertizement contracts because of cricket.

He does not play for India. He plays for BCCI. Which already claimed themselves as independent body. :D

Plus, BCCI also claimed they are a charitable trust!!! haha, so much for cricket.

So you mean artists are the only one who work in acting industry? And to be precise the claim was about being attached to entertainment industry. He claimed to be an entertainer. :)

And if all is not for money then what for? I hope you are doing some job at some company and doing it just for charity! without getting paid. :D

But i never change my profession. He is acting because of fame he got in cricket and now he is saying he is an actor to avoid tax. If u r working in company and do u call yourself as something else outside for moeny? if so then u r in same category.

You won't change your profession because you can't. You want to stick to whatever you are doing right now.

Well, I am already in multiple professions. A writer, businessman and IT Professional at the same time. So what should I say I am? Am I not speaking truth if I say I am any of these three? For any reason?

And don't give me that honesty and all BS. Remember what kind of ways you use to avoid tax and you will know what I mean. It's always easy to tell other to do things right.

if BCCI is charity, then everything in this world is charity. I said i will not change my profession, but i never said i don't do anything to avoid tax. Argument here is "he told that word for money". that's what.

He said it because his attorney told him it's legal. World looks at what's legal not whats moral or ethical.

Rather if something is legal then it's ethical. If his attorney was convinced about claim's legality then we can not question it on moral grounds.

Btw, ever heard of people giving fake HRA rent receipts? Giving fake medical bills and not showing share profits to save tax? I bet you did it at least once (or will do it once you reach the 20% slot. :D )

Cmon. please don't compare me with Sachin. what im doing is for money, then what he is doing is also for money (but in a big way, in crores, in billions etc..). that's the point. so he is also in same boat. whatever way u argue, he has done that for money only. Im not saying that is wrong, but im upset person like sachin shd not have done that.

The matter of actor or cricketer arised in Income Tax. The court had said that the parameters of an actor are there in Sachin or any other sports man acting on TV. So it was not Sachin who claimed it, it was his lawyer or attorney who claimed it successfully before court. And anyway he has paid taxes on it. So no point in saying that he is shameless.

Ghosh, I know psychos like you will always find something in nothing.... In case you have a problem understanding English, this column was not written by Sachin or some sports journalist but by an ordinary reader.... And could you please throw some of your valuable gems of wisdom as to how being featured here will help Sachin in making a comeback.... He just has to say that he is back and he will be taken back...
