is in transition stage. They are trying new players and these new players are showing promise. It happened to every team. We just need to give up on some players like Rohit Sharma. They have given him lot of chances but he is showing no improvement but it's not wrong to say that he is a good player. Conclusion is that India needs time but most important thing is they should plan and move in right direction.

India is favourite.

C.Pujara inclusion is a good move. India need A.Mukund as well.

Cannot get any side out ...dont get carried away by the kotla win ...very clearly around the 30 th over a message was given by PCB / Bookies to the pakis that they should lose.

gotum is a liability ..he is now visually handicapped and cannot spot the full length delivery ..invariably gets out if a bowler gets it at a yorker length

Grow up !
by Bhaskar Rattan on Jan 10, 2013 01:37 AM

Before making some pessimist statements I think we need to be a little optimistic and listen to the elders and seniors...As Mr. Boycott mentioned that this is a transition phase for the Indian team.....Please Indians have some faith!! And stop judging from one off odd experience.

Low expectations
by Arv Singh on Jan 09, 2013 11:22 PM

I am not holding high expectation from the bunch of recycled and repeat failures unless the twelfth player, Indian bookie brings up a surprise.

India needs active leadership and fresh legs on the field. There is no shortage of talent then why are we recycling the stale Sambhar again and again:

Unmukt Chand, Jiwanjot Chauhan, Shikhar Dhawan, Manprit Juneja, Gautam, Shami Ahmed, Bhuvneshwar, Awana, Harmeet Singh, Sundeep Sharma, Sarabjit Ladda, and Aparajith deserve a chance.
