When sir of sirs Mr sachin used to open up India won all world cups in that duration.Hehe..Sachin was only a contributor not match winner. An specialist in doing half job
With due regards to Venksarkar, I firmly differ with him as the race for captaincy is certainly playing in the minds of players. Ever since Kohli was named as deputy for Dhoni, players like Raina, Shewag and Gambir just started performing lesser than their potential with intention and that is the reason to a larger extent why the team is suffering setbacks. Even if Fletcher is changed, the scenario would not. People like Raina, Shewag and Gambir should be axed atleast for 2-3 series like the selectors treated Harbhajan. Try youngsters like Rahane,Shikar Dawan, Pujara and others who score runs heavily in domestic matches..
Yes I agree dhoni should be in team as a captain but still remove the players not in form such as rohit sharma,gambhir and give chance to youngsters in waiting Dr P D Juyal
