Aussies known for these only
by chandan choudhury on Jan 07, 2013 10:36 PM  | Hide replies

Its not new to the world of cricket lovers.there are lots of past examples of Aussies being too aggressive both verbally and physically in the field if their play don't come good on that particular day. They just can't digest a defeat sportingly. A Win is not possible in each and everygame..they musy realise the truth.

Not necessarily. This is competitive professional sport and there is a lot at stake in each of these games. So, we should not be surprised to see players getting emotionally vested. That said, a champion of Warne’s stature and long experience in top-level cricket could have exercised more control of his emotions. It set a poor example for youngsters watching the game.

Both Samuels and Warne in past were found guilty is Match Fixing.....Both are fixers...We never know this might be a fixed plot to bring their league in news....Common people like us keep discussing but a lot happens behind the screen that we get exposed to.

If it had been an Indian player, the penalties would have been more severe and irrationally higher....racism at the core

West indies are always well behaved on the field

I have always found that West Indies have been well behaved compared to all other teams and have been modest off the field also. Very friendly guys on earth. On the other hand, Aussies are the worst behaved and proud guys. Think they can dominated all others.

Despite all this (in fact Warnie was on the mic also at the time of the incident), they would say, "Oh, its not serious, just he is trying to be bit aggressive, he didn't mean it......" as usual..... Most peobably, Marlon will get even more severe punishment than Warnie.... If only it had been a player from the sub-continent, he might have been banned for life time..... Racist Aussies.....

Aussie Arrogance and Bias
by rajesh doshi on Jan 07, 2013 12:21 PM

This cleary is a reflection on how Aussiee's play their cricket and particuraly the arrogance of Shane Warne. Howsoever good their players may be, the Australians truly do not know how to play like players at a International level. Silly and Pathetic. Shocking also is that the Australian Board does not find throwing the ball at Samuels as being violative of the concerned regulation. Seems all these regulations are aimed only at the Asian and West Indies players. Its high time that the Asian teams and West Indies created a parallel international cricket body as otherwise no English, South African or Aussiee cricketer will ever get the punishment they deserve for a violation.

Typical AUssie Behaviour!

Nothing new here. This is the way that the Aussies have played their cricket since the Chappel era. Sledging, putting umpires under pressure due to constant appealing, claiming bump cathces(check Sydney 2008), not walking when out..the list goes on. All of this played a big part in them winning many tests and ODIs in the 90s and 2000s. Now that all these guys have retired and young ones have taken their slot, lets hope they learn from the likes of tendulkar,MSD,dravid, kumble etc on how one can both play the game in the right spirit as well as become champions!
