Why did VVS retire?
by Arv Singh on Jan 08, 2013 06:12 AM  | Hide replies

Yo Yo Dhoney Singh forced VVS Laxman to take early retirement. Dravid and Tendulkar could have also played a little longer and Harbhajan is on permanent exile. Even when he was recalled, Dhoni never gave him ball in prime overs. All this is due to the fact that it was not in the Dhoni-Fletcher-Sriniwasan plan.

The Delhi ODI match was fixed and so was the man of the match award. Wait and watch - all will be exposed over time. One of the commentator has already made a statement that Dhoni was given the MOM award by fellow Indian commentators to boost his morale.

Indian public is being duped with this "fixed" win and BCCI has done nothing to improve the status quo. The players selected for the ODI series is same old stale sambhar from BCCI - same old failed performers again.

Sandeep Patil has turned out to be his master's monkey. Sehwag is deserving out of the team but somehow BCCI favorites like Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, and R. Asswin are still in the team.

Is BBCI trying to fix the England ODI series too? Well. at least they found a way to win the matches - Yo Yo Dhoney Singh and Bapu Fletcher can't deliver it.

All Indian victories are fixed. Only the Indian defeats are genuine. Well said Paki!

Laxman as a captain
by sudhir goel on Jan 08, 2013 02:16 AM

Maybe he can be a captain for next couple of years till someone like Pujara or Kohli is groomed. Dhoni has to go and someone else has to take over.

It is not VVS... It is Rediff/ media that is playing with the words. Knowing VVS, I don't think he will ever come back into the team on his own.

Laxman reckons he is still fit to play Test cricket

I don't think, this is correct.

If he is FIT, he should play for Hyderabad regularly and score runs, which he is not doing.
