INDIAN CRICKET
by pgcot on Jan 05, 2013 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

India is the second largest populated country in the world.
There are 28 states and 7 union territories in INDIA don't we have enough talents to pick a good team in all the three formats? With the talents available in India we can pick one good team from each state if not at least 15 good teams.
Why we are choosing some 15 players and giving importance to them by playing in all matches and all formats?
We are fools to follow our INDIAN CRICKET and team.
If there is 3 different teams atleast players will get oppurtunity to show skills and if a particular set of players is selected we must persist with them for some time for improvement.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BUDDIES

In August 2012 TATA MOTORS received an order for 635 SUMO GRANDE Vehicles, but RATAN TATA rejected the offer saying that we won’t do business with a country who is launching terror activities against our country. This is a really a true PATRIOTIC GESTURE from TATA group whereas BCCI is inviting Pakistan cricket team to generate millions of money through advertisements and sponsorships. Ultimately our players have also became money minded (with few exceptions) and they are playing only for money. For years and years INDIAN GOVERNMENT keep on talking with Pakistan government does the problem solved till today? They fool all of us by saying that we are inviting Pakistan cricket team for improving bilateral relationship, cricket will never do any favour for Indian people or Indian government and cricket will never bring unity between India and Pakistan.
We are wasting our time and money by buying tickets or sitting in front of television. It is time for us to wake up and not to get fooled repeatedly as we did for years. One thing we must all know is BCCI is not controlled by Govt of India and none of the money generated from cricket goes for INDIAN GOVERNMENT, there are some 10 to 15 persons who are all leading industrialists or politicians and they rule BCCI completely and decisions are taken for their benefits.

Delhi Gang
by rajesh doshi on Jan 05, 2013 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

It is clear to anyone who watches carefully that Gambhir, Sehwag and Kohli have joined hands in ensuring that Dhoni is removed as Captain in all formats of the game. The so called destructive Sehwag is not even good enough on Indian pitches while the new wonderboy in form of Kohli plays one innings in five to ensure continuity of his place in the side. This reminds one of the eighties when Gavaskar's men from Mumbai used to dictate indian team selection. It is a pity that Gambhir, Sehwag and Kohli do not seem to worry about putting the nation ahead of their personal ambitions.

Why dhoni did not come to bat at no 4 or 5 when his team was struggling. He did that in world cup final coming ahead of yuvraj and raina, why he didnt do the same here. He was hiding behing other batsmen and when ball got old and fast bowlers got tired came out and played an inconsequential test match innings. When there are multiple important players in the team a balance of power is needed else team will suffer. Remember even Dhoni is selfish, strip him from captaincy him and then see his performance you will see a different Dhoni. All are selfish, the best thing is you divide power in the team. IF India loses no one gains , both will suffer.

Where are Sachin bashers?
by Mumbai Indian on Jan 05, 2013 06:46 PM  | Hide replies

Where are those Sachin critics hiding? Few days back they were ranting that team performance is lacking because of overaged players like Sachin dragging out of form.

Sachin is gone, so why this pathetic situation? This is what happens when you blame the wrong one for the heck of it. And when you do not have a clear exit strategy.

They said Aussies make greats sit out if not performing. Sure. Now same yard stick applied to Sachin. What about the rest of the team.

Sachin bashers, dont hide. Come out and show your brilliance.

Why Gambhir plays all 3 formats? There is abundant of talent. Give opportunities to other players.frustating selection procedure. not even leaving the out of form player for even a single match!!!

Dears

Please do not interfere BCCI business especially in team selection matters, just see how BCCI called up Dhoni’s cover up as Dinesh Kartik instead of Parthive patel,Widharman Shah or most suitable our Own Robin Uthappaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
