The problem is both Partiv and Kartik were shunted in that line up and often opened which may not be thier strength..any keeper picked for India in the absense of MSD is aksed to open, dont know why..that is a little unfair. Unless these back up keepers open in domestic they should not be forced to open in ODIs, not everyone can be a McCullum or Gilchrist who can open in ODIs and succeed.

he first needs to prove that for India A, unfortunately he will be playing in Semis for Karnataka and hence cannot be picked for India A against Eng. Dont pick players just coz they proved in 1 season, look what happened to Mithun
why irfan pathan not included in the on going one day series against pakistan, irfan pathan performed very well in t20 world cup in sri lanka, He is only the genuine all rounder, and he bat at no.6. I request the selectors to include irfan for england one day series.

dhoni better odi WK batsman than all others named...AB Sanga are specialist test batsmen anyway and they never always keep for their side...
Parthiv should play as a wk which will give MSD some rest, MSD should play as a batsman higher up, and he is a better bowling option than Raina or for that matter even Dinda.

dhoni should be caption withought getting responsibility of wicket keeper, he will become more free his natural talent.

attitude, nerves and temperament are more important than technique...for all his technical shortcomings msd puts a price on his wicket and has a winning attitude and many times has done what players with better technique and record have been unable to do...what use all the technique if you dont play well...and if one can play well without the so-called technique why make such a big issue of it?
