The series of humiliating losses the indian team has sufferred is only because of the in the sport and the players are more concerned about their modelling assignments than cricket or India. It is time all the companies who have contracted with the cricket players for their advertisements to think more of the motherland and see that no cricketeer is given any advertising contract. It is also time for we as Indians to boycott all the products endorsed by the cricketeers. This may be the way to show our concern towards the dwindling attitude of our players towards the game

there is nothing wrong with Dhoni, do not blame him for each and every thing..he is the only batsman who performed when all other superheros failed miserably..so punish him for his performance..sack the top order, bring ajinkya, tiwari other rayudu..if you remove dhoni the innings will over in 25 overs..
dont worry about winning....just play... u are not responsible for such overcrowded senseless schedules...anyway ur winning world cup and other important tournaments are good enough...losinbg such insignificant series is ok...dont worry..

well said. india v pak is as insignificant as world cup. it is only the series against west indies, bangladesh and new zealand that counts.

Pakistani players listen to wasim akram. Do you think our players would do the same. They are not talking and listening to each other only then they will think about listening to senior players. They are millionares and billionares.
1) India's superstars have become too big for the game. They have earned so much, it does not matter to them if they fail or succeed anymore. They are still guaranteed more IPL contracts and money and fame.
2)Indian cricket board and team management is unable to take hard decisions. They have retained players based on their reputations or IPL reputations at times versus performance. Classic examples are Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvi, Sachin, Zaheer, Harbhjan. Even when selecting the best XI,they have not done justice to the likes of Rahane, Tiwary, Ojha (for ODI), etc. They have not taken a gamble with youngsters like Aparajit, Unmukt and introduced them against teams like New Zealand just to test their mettle.
3) Oldies like Sachin, Sehwag are hanging around like a bad smell. The selfish attitude of these seniors has affected the team selections as they are not even flexible in the roles or positions they bat.
4)Past cricketers like Gavaskar, Kapil, Bedi, Prasanna, Shastri, Ganguly are only good for criticizing the team. They are doing nothing to help the youngsters to overcome any deficiencies in their skills. You see in the opposite camp, Akram, Miandad, Aaqib Javed, Inzy are helping their country.
I have many more points that come to mind but these are the main issues.

I 100% agree with your points. Cricket has become a business and gambling, nobody is there to care about performances and national pride. Politics and money are ruining the Indian cricket without any respect for performance or patriotism.
