RE: Ind-Pak ODI series

Now that I have read some of the comments below, let me get this staraight - even this series loss is Sachin's fault? How obsessed are these Sachin haters with him, that they cannot for one second, look around for any other reason even when their favorite whipping boy is out of the picture?
Pathetic! It just underscores my earlier conclusion that these haters really need to get a life.

People who cannnot achieve anything in life usually spend time in pulling people down.
They believe in the principle of pulling successfull people down to their own level and then beat them handsomely, because they have all the experience in life to be a failure ;).
On a serious note, not sure how many people would be without anything to do since they would not be able to write long essays on how sachin was responsible for all the losses India suffered in last 23 years.

Spineless people.

Atleast now SACK Duncan 'good for nothin' Fletcher......
by asliSwadeshi on Jan 04, 2013 02:26 AM

Over the past year the Indian team has saw the departures of stalwarts like Dravid, Laxman and Tendulkar (from ODI's), also others like Harbhajan and the Pathan brothers have been thrown into the dark corners of Indian cricket.

But inspite of all this the losing spree hasn't stopped, and the team keeps touching new lows.

Clearly the problem was never the players to begin with. It was this useless and inept coach Duncan 'good for nothin' Fletcher who could not ensure the unity in the dressing room and enthuse players and provide them adequate morale.

In the past year the Indian team has looked like the Pakistani team of early 2000's when greats like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Inzamam, Yousuf Yohana, Razzak, Azhar Mahmood,Saqlain and current players like Younus Khan, Shoaib Malik etc.. played but since the dressing room was highly fragmented the team never won.

It would be wise to learn from their experience now and get a good coach like Gary Kirsten who can keep the team united and motivate all the players to perform their best on the feild..

sachin retires team starts losing everything and then people lose interst in cricket. People started watching cricket fanatically due to sachin. This game became a religion in india. Due to sacin and after him it will go the same wayas hockey.

by AntiPigs on Jan 04, 2013 01:06 AM  | Hide replies

Where are all the Sachin bashers? Where are all the pseudo-intellectuals who were after his blood as if there is plathora of young talent waiting on the coast to replace him.. Now I am sure you must be wanting more (c)old blood in the form of Gambhir, Sehwag, Dhoni.. ohh and what about young blood of Kohlis, Rainas, Ashwins, Jadejas, Rohits??? Now why are u not barking from the roof top on top of ur voice??
Loosers...

I am the Sachin basher. Why he should be in the team in the expense of younger players? India is losing? So what? Every team has its ups and downs, that does not mean we have to throw the younger players and bring back oldies. You have a wrong and corrupted mind. Stop worshiping old people, start building a new Indian team.

The so called young blood, including Dhoni, is only interested in minting money thru endorsements. Wait for Aus series, another whitewash is in the lines.

And sachin will silence everyone in this series. Just wait and watch. I am sure at one time players will start asking for sachin to come out of retirement like how the pak team did for imran khan in the 80s. Im sure sachin may even play the 2015 world cup.

You should not worship old people but you should respect and recognize their importance like you do to your parents when they are old.. Also all idiots like you should understand unjustified demands of someone's head and justified demands. Had you been having enuff bench strength you should have asked for his retirement. You have ever persisted non performing assets like Rohit Sharma/Ravinder Jadeja... You could have tired newer players by replacing them. These guys are anyways not performing. But I am sure your dumb mind would not understand these logical things.. No fault of yours.

Syz:
How many players was Sachin in the team in expense for? 20?
And who stopped you from building talent like Mohammad Irfan and Junaid? No wonder we lost Asia Cup cursing Sachin despite his brilliant century. Then had him retire and now oldie batsman Dhoni is losing us matches in Chennai and Kolkata. We never had a captain anyway - only a CEO ( Chief Excuse Officer)..,

India needs to be consistent with keeping the young players. They are losing now because they are inexperience. That does not mean we have to throw them out for the oldies. Every team has its own ups and downs. India won World Cup. Get ready for its downfall in the next few years. Pakistan and West Indies may become dominant for the next few years; I will not even be surprised if India is knocked out in the first round of next World Cup. I will not also be surprised if Pakistan wins the next cup. However, all these are inevitable to any any team which reaches to the peak; a downfall is almost always predicted. That does not mean that we have bring back the old players. It is high time to keep younger players and let Sewag, Zahir and Harbhazan to retire from one-days. Dhoni should give captaincy to Kohli.

Ups and downs? This team has had o up since 18 months. First throw out your captain dhoni and then talk abt cricket. All these years these were having sachin umbrella now lets see how they perform without him.

Lets get a new wicket keeper, some good pace bowlers (remember Asia Cup?), and some genuine spinners.
Oldie Dhoni and Yuvi should go and Kohli, Pujara, Jadeja should be put on notice that Rahane, Rayudu, Rasool etc are waiting.

Dhoni should thank Saurav
by Deshbhakth Hindu on Jan 04, 2013 01:04 AM

It was Saurav who developed a great team. Dhoni got a well settled team of greats. This is where Saurav is far ahead of Dhoni.

Every team has ups and downs. India won World Cup. Get ready for its downfall for the next four years. This is the time when new players are to be coached and introduced. One team cannot perform at the top for all the time. My prediction is: Pakistan and West Indies may come out stronger teams in next few years. I will not be surprised if Pakistan wins next Cup.
